Drizzle and the Sun…

1457425120831[1]

I was upset with the rainfall

It stole in at night with no call

I wanted to catch shots in the rain

Alas! She played me a fast one

And only left tracks on my window pane

Oh well! Let me enjoy the rising Sun.

Wait a minute! I see the rain coming back.

I guess it heard my call.

Be Mine…Please Listen to this and tell me what you think..YouTube Vlog

The whiff of your perfume
curls around my senses
as you brush past to grab a seat
in your favoured spot.

My eyes light up in quivery anticipation
of all the sensations
that is associated with your presence

We always board the 6 pm train
Two strangers,You and I
Yet your figure has grown familiar
and your signature perfume
a fragrance I have come to know

It spoke of dusky Summer nights
and those soft rainy days.

Your bare-ringed finger
I have stared at for so long
Within me
I know that you are not spoken for

Your full red lips
Matches your red finger tips
I doubt you know how delectable you look
with your underlip caught between your teeth

The trundle of the train
causes us to sway gently
as we approach each stop

I know that I have to take the plunge now
for the urgency in me has grown into a huge lunge

You step out and I follow in haste
No longer willing to watch you through the windows
as we pull slowly away

Providence seems to be with me today
for your clicking heels catch on a stumble
and I rush to the rescue
a Prince to his fair maiden

For the first time
I catch you in my arms
Your breathing sigh
and your breathless thank you
a worthy boon.

Hello I said to you.

Imperfect Parts Of A Perfect Whole…

brightness

Dare we take a peek? I shudder;
I shudder, should we dare seek to see;
Beneath our pantomime parades;
What turbulence lies under the facades;
Can the glare of the twisted mess found beneath;

Can the parts all broken, cracked, jumbled, mangled and messed up beyond measure;
Ever fit, not to cause so much displeasure?
Facades that shimmers and glimmers like timeless diamonds;
Yet within their confined cupboards they fight and grapple with their demons;

Painful warts underneath, score my soul like those of a soiled dove;
dirty, filthy, unbecoming, unwholesome tiny cracks everywhere;
The freckles of imperfection marks me brutally;
I am covered in sinful spots and dots;
A sore sight to the sinless eyes;

But who are these sinless eyes? Where are they be to be found? I ask;
Shall we dare to take a peek to see;
There are no sinless between you and I;
All broken bits of imperfections we are;
But yet he says;

Come! I beseech you;
Come to me with all your freckles and all your warts!
Come to me with all your spots and all your dots!
Disgraced, Broken, Discarded, Cracked, Twisted, Warped,Mangled,
Hopeless, Desperate, Ashamed, Naked;

However spotty it might be!
Come!
For my perfection makes your imperfection whole!
Come!
For I came to set the captives free!

The Daily Post

Come into my parlour…

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Home Turf.”

1442851943369I have a fine home, I think I do,

With nice gadgets and knick, knacks too!

But not my spiffy new home, with all the pots and pans,

Not my lovely, comfy bed and not my TV too!

Its just a nice living space, if it was just for me,

My home lies with those who share my space,

They make it worthwhile too!

Their Warmth,

Their Energy,

The Laughter,

The Frolics,

And The Squabbles too!

Without these my lovely ones,

There would be no home at all!

If you were to visit us,

You would be captivated too!

Not by the lovely new gadgets

But our smiley tooth!

Little Nuggets….

Six words

Treasure

Seek Wisdom like nuggets to treasure;

Embrace her with every pleasure;

For she will give good measure;

Under all forms of pressure.

Secret

If I should tell you my secret;

Would you chirp it like a cricket?

Dragging down my spirit;

Just for a meal ticket.

Home

To my heart, home is where you are;

Your warm embrace and distinct fragrance;

Pulls me in and gives me anchor;

From place to place;

Through seasons of time;

and the parade of many faces.

Just a bit of nonsense…

woman in sunset - namaste

Doing a hip hop on the bridge top,

Oh dear! There goes her top,

And the big tops, just go flip, flop,

She went skinny dip, submerged to her lips,

Sailors on the ship, were amazed by the hips,

Sailor one hails; There lies a fair maid,

Sailor two bails; No! She is just a mermaid,

Do not invade, for you’ll be betrayed,

Alas! That would end our trade.
