I totally curbed my zeal in going photo bombing with today’s photo 101 theme ‘Architecture and Monochrome’ in a city that is an architectural delight.
Buildings sprout like mushroom in this place and each with it’s loveliness in intricacy or even simplicity.
The sprinkling weather of today, curbed my clicky fingers delight, so, I have a mix of new and old.
Some were tweaked in black and white for comparison and in as much as I like both, I think I will naturally gravitate to the bright colours like a happy butterfly 🙂
To grow we need to take ‘positive risks’ in our pursuits and keep pushing the bar up.
If we don’t push the bar, we stagnate and become redundant.
It’s definitely needful to think through our steps and not to jump into impulsive actions that would only negate our efforts, however, over-processing can equally be a buzz killer and source of procrastination.
You may experience bumpy take-offs, even sustaining the momentum could get very turbulent, but clearly defining and redefining your goals, concentrating, caring about what you are doing and holding yourself accountable will lead you to your desired post.
Keeping these things in the front of one’s mind helps keep you grounded and stable.
Not wanting to go back I tarry long, gathering each hue;
Spring-cleaning of mind and reorganizing heart’s closet,
Letting go the old and making room for new life deposit.
My dearest Pam is one of my biggest props in this place. I call her my sage one. She needs our prayers and support. Please look in. That’s why we are a community.
The weekend Photo 101 theme is to ‘play with the light.’
Below is a compilation of a few bright and beautiful takes.
Some were quickly taken outside intermittently today before getting back to join my party guests *since I am the hostess* and several photos (night shots) are older.
Hop in let’s get this party started. You are most welcome.
Just make yourself comfortable.
Refreshments are nicely arranged down the page: Drinks, Chocolates, Cakes, Donuts, freshly squeezed juice, Coffee, Tea and so much more. 🙂
We even have an Intercontinental Chef in the house. LOOK UP and place your orders 😉
Just a little rules of play:
You must mix and mingle with others. Don’t be a wall flower. Go say hello to someone and you can participate in the Tag a poem up above.
Please leave your blog link or post link in the comment box below along with an introductions.
It’s one link per comment, but come back as often as you’d like, that way it’s easier to focus on a link at a time for others.
Please reblog, spread the word of the party like butter, or like, share on Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Facebook, etc. Tell your family, friends, blogging neighbours, even your blogging pets.
Have fun, it’s a great way to find bloggers and have them find you.
Please show some love. Reblog this post. It helps all of us! The more people that see and participate in it, the more potential new follows! So, share and share voraciously!
There we have it. Since all the rules have been clearly explained, have fun and make the most of it 🙂
Thank you for coming to my party and supporting my blog. You rock.
Let’s add some SPRING to the tale 🙂 You can crack your Story telling imagination by contributing to this tag along Spring fiction below. The full story will be published on my Tuesday’s Trivia with every part attributed to the contributor. So here goes…
Buds of Spring
Georgette looks out of the window
The cold is fast thawing out and little fresh sprigs are sprouting.
It should be warm soon
Yet the coldness in her heart did not match the liveliness of the budding Spring
Her heart feels like a ghost town.
Where is he?
He promised her everything and she believed in him…
Counting the days and hoping that it’s just a dream.
‘Back in my home country, when we call for a party, we call for a party. We don’t skimp. Our hospitality is legendary. We even give out party tokens, so help yourself to an Easter Party Pack. You are welcome :-)’
Nothing creates mystery like the cloak of the dark.
Darkness amplifies suspense and sound.
Even a frog will look princely in the dark. It casts a romantic pall and softens the sharp edges of stark daylight.
For today’s photo 101 theme ‘Mystery and Lighting effect, I couldn’t find the eye of a dog and my neighbours dog wasn’t very forthcoming at looking me in the eyes even after a doggy bribe 😊
Anyway’s I searched in my photos to see if I had mystery lurking around anywhere and I dug up some stuff that I hope are satisfactory.
