Nature offers you her beauty in abundance at every nook and cranny. Just take a look around you.

The Immortal Jukebox

What’s in your jukebox? I enjoyed this post. Like her, when I started my blogging journey, it was without any expectations but simply to write to my heart’s content and those letters from the heart yield abundant results.

Who’s My Favourite Today

I read this short beautiful post and my thoughts stray to me and my son who will be transitioning off to college by the tail-end of next year all things being equal. I must say that my heart often skips a bit when I think of it.

The Great Divide Just Got Wider

A read that compels one to wonder. I pray things get better soon. I’ll borrow the comments made by Kevin Brennan

What kills me is that this brand of racist hatred is in no way compatible with Christianity, yet they wear the cross like they’re marchin’ for Jesus. Hey, Jesus would tear them a new one if he came back today!

Posts That Caught My Interest #6

I was reading Danny’s post this morning: I call this surviving by sheer grits. It couldn’t have been easy, to say the least. An amazing journey of survival. Please read.Image result for images of sharing

When the enemy stands by the sidelines waiting for you to fail, you make sure you don’t give him/her the pleasure, hang on by the tentacles and succeed.

A Letter To Someone

Though the letter is fictional I quite enjoyed reading this letter written by Damyanti ‘I’ll be your father’ and here’s my comment below:

What a letter! Blunt yet loving, empowering and liberating. I enjoyed reading this.

Today’s Inspiration

An awesome quote and here’s my comment:

Some would love to hold people’s mistakes over their heads like a sword of Damocles for the rest of their lives.

What’s In A Name?

Grab this quickly. Sally Cronin’s book ‘What’s in a name,’ is available for free; offer ends Sunday 13th. I got me a copy and will be doing a review soon 😉

What do we teach our children?

One of my nightmares in life is the thought of failing to raise my children well. It bothers me. I know that there are no perfect parents and that children will still express their individualities, but it’s alarming when you observe how some parents are not even concerned with the fact that they pass on some nasty attitudes on to their children.

Woman wanting to strengthen relationships with other women

An interesting good read that will get your thoughts rolling.

Do you find it easy to connect and build great relationships with other women or do you prefer male friends?

Reaching out

Watch This! My thoughts below:

The first gives you some faith in human kindness whilst the second cuts your breath off. I have a brother-in-law who drowned four years ago in Toronto and watching this made me think of him. Could someone have helped him – he went with some colleagues to the Lake – but they chose not to?
The second shows what’s all that’s wrong with human kind. It hurts the soul to see these things.

My PPA

The life of a fresh Nigerian graduate. Funny article – but not a funny reality. My comments below:

You take me back to the days of fresh out of school where they feel you should be happy to be employed – free-of-charge 🙂

Tales From The Bench

Fantastic image to go with a delightful tale. How we take these mundane things in our lives for granted, yet they know so much about us. If the articles that we use on a daily basis could talk, I can only imagine what they would have to say

The Ties That Bind

Absolutely heartwarming vignette. Here’s what I had to say:

Can I say beautiful like others have echoed? Oh Roo, you make me think of my siblings and have a lump in my throat. A wonderful family is everything.

Inspiring New Beginnings…

Inspired Beacon, Online Shopping, Promotion,

Nothing gets me inspired like seeing people aim high and keep going after their aspirations. Kaylaa Blackwell, blogger, entrepreneur, author of Inspired Beacon is one lady that keeps pushing the boundaries. Girl, I see you.

Her business savvy impresses me. Going from a one stop online shop that offers products to promote positive lifestyle to launching her first brick and mortar shop is a leap of faith to higher grounds.

Kaylaa has been such an immense support and partner to my site and not only do I wish her all the best in her endeavours, but I will be looking at her to learn from her vast experience.

Posts That Caught My Interest #5

I love positive things. I love progress and exciting news. I love to see people chase after their aspirations and dreams and watch them grow. It inspires me more than I can tell you. Some days when my inspiration tank is low, good news from others pep me up and keep me going. Michele, I know you’ll do exceedingly well on this new path.

Inspired Beacon’s posts on better living, food for thought, inspiration, success tips, personal development and business sense keeps me pushing for higher grounds. Never Stop Fighting.

The ‘Fine Lines’ of this poem is not only riveting but empowering in its raw state.

I am mastering ‘How To Sail My Ship,’ how are you doing yours?

You have a right to your opinion, but you’ve got to learn to accept ‘My Opinion.’ In the bid to state your opinion as tell it as it is, also learn that it’s not a license to whiplash others with your venom.

I honestly can’t explain how it must feel to be purchased. A short post ‘I was a purchase,’ that left me pondering.
