Tight and Warm, a pair of words that can be used in lots of beautiful ways. Connotes, cosy, snug, comfortable and so many more. Thank you Ronovan.

UNCHAINED….
The speed of the thoughts
Race in and out
Like a tempest forming
In the nascence of a rage
They are battering and the mind keeps buffering
Until the dams break down
Weakened by the bashing
Of banked emotions
The rage boils over
Tip of the pen races across the paper
Leaving dripping trails
Of blood, gore, tears and fury.
Silence!
The calmness returns.
Tuesdays Trickles…My Thinking Corner #10 …
Every Tuesday, I share snippets of thoughts that I call ‘My Thinking Corner.’
I would like to invite you to participate. The challenge is quite simple.
Each Tuesday, share your very short snippets of positive, inspiring, motivating, health, spiritual, writing advice, clips, posts etc, that can serve as a prop to motivate others and simply add my link to your post.
I call it my thinking corner because, I actually take out a bit of time just to think through things, encapsulate my thoughts as much as possible and detoxify my mind.
It might work for you in a different way, but the idea is to get the positive thoughts flowing.
Please send in your little thoughts. You never know whose life you might inspire.
- Just sit still for a moment and do nothing but appreciate your life.
- Remember that your negatives turn into positives if you give it enough time to develop. Treat those dark moments as a transition to more positive moments.
- I believe that there is no better way to live a life than to live it with absolute faith and positivism. The alternative is simply dreary.
- To love is free, but to hate, takes up a whole lot of energy.
- Follow your dreams. As far-fetched as it might seem. Remember that someone thought of going to the moon and managed to find a way there. Don’t hinder yours.

Are you comfortable now? Good. Now put up your feet on that plump purple cushy foot-rest in the corner and let’s have a quick chat while you get your feet massaged.

Midnight Motivations And Musings #15 …..
All the time spent worrying or nit-picking over issues that don’t add any value to our lives, but rather increases our headaches and gray hairs are unnecessary baggage that we should strive to let go of as much as possible.
Some have become experts in sweating the small stuff, in finding logs in other people’s eyes and generally nosey-poking into affairs that is none of their business, while they leave their own lives to flounder.
On the other hand, some are weighed down with so much that it seems as if the weight of the World is resting on their shoulders.
Isn’t it high time you started tossing away some of that ridiculous load that you are lugging around?
Isn’t it high time you started making your journey lighter and more peaceful?
Think on it. There are some excesses not worth taking along.

When The Words Arrived Late…
I am quite sure that I am just one out of the billions of women who started a good argument thread with yours sincerely darling husband or partner, believing that you had all your words lined in a row, only to find yourself perplexed after a bit into the lopsided argument and at a loss for a good parting shot to drive home your thoughts.
Fast forward two days later, while on the hot stove turning the soup, a phrase just pops into your head and you think to yourself.
Ah Ha! That’s it! I should have said that line as my nailing shot.
That would surely make him realize how much thought I gave to the matter.
You traipse to the Living room to deliver your parting shot which is two days late and your husband who is flipping the sports channel thinks you are a lunatic, because for all intents and purpose, he has blissfully forgotten what it was you were talking about 🙂

My bit of experience of blogging has shown me how grueling it can be, from thinking of content, to content production, to tagging etc, etc and when new bloggers start, it almost seems a daunting task for them.
Nevertheless, this task can be halved and lightened by working smart.
By hanging out in crowds. Don’t be a loner. Get involved in activities happening around you and not only will your blog flourish, but your mind as well.
Going forward, I will be hosting TEA/BRUNCH get together’s once a month and I must tell you, I throw awesome parties.
The last one we had on Valentine’s weekend was fabulous and one should be coming up in March. I want to keep it to once a month so that it doe’s not get too tedious to party hard over a weekend.
However, in between that time, each evening, last thing before I put up my own two feet on my inviting bed, I will feature 5 blogs on my blog.
So here’s the deal, if you have a post that you would like to shed more light on, you can send it this way and I will take it in turns.
For the newbies, don’t be shy, even if it’s just an introduction of yourself, that will do. We all started from somewhere, but then you also have to follow the link and discover the person behind the scene.
That’s my thought. So what’s yours?…

Dear Andrew…

Sybil’s fingers trembles and as she sends the text message to Andy. It’s better this way, because she couldn’t stand to look him in the face and break the news to him.
Hopefully, he would be so mad that he won’t want to see her when he gets into town.
For weeks he talked of how they would get married, so she would return to Pennsylvania with him and she had been joyful.
Now, those dreams are never going to be. It all seems so surreal as she stares into the distance.
She’s loved Andy forever and everyone thought that they would end up together.
How she had ended sleeping with Jason still puzzles her. All she remembers was cuddling up to him as he helped her to the truck. A night out in town, several drinks and she was out like light.
Jason was a good friend to both of them and now this.
She wonders how he would take the news that he is to become a father. There will be ripples in town.

Spread The Word
If you fancy a dalliance with your ink pot, you can share your poems also on Ink and Quill.
Enjoy the moments.
Since starting my blog, Ink and Quill, my passion for poetry has grew immensely. I love the way, writing poetry makes me feel. To push the bounds, think outside the box, and challenge norms.
The support and encouragement, I have received from the WP Community, has been outstanding. It really has made me a better person and writer. I now think of myself as a writer and I’m challenging myself everyday.
So I started a thread, to share poetry on Ink and Quill, from amazing poets from around the world. To promote their work.
Together we can encourage, promote and support writers. This is my little way of helping, as I have been helped.
Please spread the word. Lets unite and promote writers around the world.
Thank you Jen
