Just A Thought

If you don’t promote your craft, no one else will!

No matter how cheesy this might sound, it’s the truth.

Artists are the first to put themselves down and don’t place value on their own worth.

I guess that’s where the phrase ‘hungry artist’ came from.

Brilliant set of people who choose to stay hungry 😉

There’s a difference between blowing your trumpet – which by the way is allowed, so long as you are not too noisy with it – and managing your skilled craft.

P.S. Have you checked out this opportunity to get paid for your creations?

Don’t Give Up – Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Challenge

Ronovan gives us an interesting pair ‘reward & trial, for this week’s Haiku. Who amongst us hasn’t gone through trying moments and also experienced the elation of rewards for sticking to it till the end? That’s the story of life.

Without trials, there’s no triumph
without labour, no rewards
they go hand in hand.

Rewards gained from your labour
is the sweet success that follows
your tedious trials and tribulations.

Don’t give up yet!
For at the end of each trial
comes a just reward.

Digging Deep…Every day beautiful people #45

“Working hard is very important. You are not going to get anywhere without working extremely hard.” George Lucas

“You can’t get much done in life if you only work on the days that you feel good.” Jerry West

God bless the hands that work. May they receive their worthy wages and may doors of opportunities open up to them.

Have a great and wonderfully satisfying week.

Below is my first just published Poetry Book “Out of the silent breath” which is available on Amazon and Smashwords.

When you buy my book, you support me in an invaluable manner.

Out of the silent breath

Enchant me with your expressive eyes, that crinkles in laughter as you speak

that I may find myself ever caught between

the reflections of your pupils and there shall I remain.

You Must Be Of Good Courage…

Walking by faith

Let me tell you something.

You may have heard this a countless times before.

Even so, I still cannot resist telling you just one more time.

Let not your heart fail you; nor your mind deny your strength,

For within you lies courage; just reach deep and it will show forth.

Let me tell you that the measure of your courage;

Is not determined by whether you reach the goal or not;

It is determined by your decision to get back on your feet;

No matter how many times your trials failed!

No one said that it will be easy!

But if you have the courage to remain steadfast;

But if you have the courage to pursue you dreams;

You will give your life its richest rewards;

You will give your life its greatest adventures;

The brightest adventures do not lie on the peaks of mountains!

The brightest adventures lie first within you..

You must be of good courage!

And rise again….even when you have fallen flat on your face!
