Vanilla in the cellar…

Oh my dearest Annabella
She thought she was Cinderella
She read that Mills & Boons novella
And fell in love with a fella

She misplaced her shoes
After some pints of booze
It gave her the blues
And sent her to snooze

Her sights were set on Andrew
Who simply didn’t have a clue
He was always confused
And she wasn’t amused

She cornered him in the cellar
After a dab of vanilla
A lot of history went under
And they honeymoon in Venezuela

The Future In The Young….

The hope of mankind’s future

Lies in the step of the young one’s

We are simply custodians

Meant to help them find their footing

How and what we teach them

Will mould the way they choose to walk

Let’s be wise in our teachings.

Haiku · Rononvan's Weekly Haiku Challenge

Exposed rumps…Ronovan writes weekly poetry haiku challenge

Phew! Ronovan gave us a pair  of tough nuts to deal with this week ‘fray and veiled.’

Here’s my little take on it below.

The veiled nun admonished in soft tones.
The ladies wore skimpy skirts,
Too short, fray edges, and rumps exposed!

Pinky Feet…Mundane Monday

Mundane Monday Challenge is created to find beauty in almost everything.

The challenge is simple : find beauty in everyday mundane things, capture the beauty and upload the photographs.

feet[1]

Feet! Normal human features that we see every day.

Yet, the feet are the beautiful piece of artwork from the Master craftsman Himself.

They take us on our lifetimes journey’s literally and physically

As we leave our imprints all over the sands of time in pursuance of our dreams.

Humor - Bellyful of laughter · The Daily Post

Heaving Bosoms…

With blue painted eyes hid behind the mask

She certainly looked mysterious

Waving her fan of fine damask

She became quite flirtatious

Her flimsy dress a dash too frivolous

It showed far too much heaving bosom

It caused many gents, to become unscrupulous

As they attempted to peek at the blossoms.

Courage! That’s all.

He was not fearless.

As a matter of fact

he was always filled with trepidation.

Yet he always found the courage

that galvanized his actions.

He walked into the burning house

and grabbed the little child.

He knew his soul would haunt him forever

if they burnt to death.

Never again he said to himself.

The memory of his mother

and his little brother

forever seared in his mind.
