In the present
there is abundance,
there is joy,
there is favour,
there is divine,
there is mercy,
there is grace,
there is peace,
In the present
there is fullness.
Be present in your present.

My days,
I must shape
with a sharp blade.
To cut
wasting good moments,
and losing many edges.

It’s never too late to start again.
Not as long as you’ve got the breath of life in you.
Impossible only lies in the mind.
ℜ
Let no one tell you differently.
You are the only one who can define who you become,
indeed, that choice is all yours.

Below is my first just published Poetry Book “Out of the silent breath” which is available on Amazon and Smashwords.
When you buy my book, you support me in an invaluable manner.

Dance to your heart’s delight my African child, until echoes of your stamping feet, beating heart; bright eyes, smiling lips; and waving hands, resonates over and over like thunder claps, reverberating throughout the Universe.
A mother is a super-sonic person on twenty-four-hour duty. She has countless job descriptions all done for free 😉
Though there’s no perfect way to being a mother, or a parent as a matter of fact, there are millions of ways to being a good one by doing your best.
Jacqueline.
“The pursuit of knowledge is never ending. The day you stop seeking knowledge is the day you stop growing.” Brandon Travis Ciaccio
When I learnt as a child that to ask meant always seek knowledge, I never stopped asking and seeking. Jacqueline
‘Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you’ll look back and realize they were the big things.’ Robert Brault

Whatever it is that he’s saying, must be delightful. Keep her smiling 😉
‘If you want to go fast you go alone, but if you want to go far, you go together’ African Proverb
#Team work. Sometimes we go it alone, but we wear out easily. When we join forces with others, we go a whole distance further because of their support.
I walked at my own pace and took photos here and there, in-between this time, teamed couples jogged past me, individuals jogged past me and I am not exaggerating when I observed the individuals like me leaving faster and those together stayed longer at it.
This observation was done over several days. I like to call it social engineering aka people watching 😉

At times, out of fear of the unknown, we hold ourselves hostage as we hold on far too long to things that have ceased to work.
Those relationships that leave us ill instead of enriching our lives, no satisfaction from jobs that drain us while on the highway to nowhere, a lifestyle that has gone bankrupt and done more harm than good…there are so many crooked lines.
For as long as we hold onto those crooked lines, we don’t free our hands to draw and hold on to better ones.
It’s not always that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. A bird in hand might peck your hands bloody and finish your seeds, yet it’s neither singing nor hatching meaningful stuff.
Sometimes, not holding a bird for a while might be a better deal. It opens your mind to think on how to go after the two in the bush.

‘The honest work of yesterday has lost its social status, its social esteem’ Peter Drucker
Though he’s employed to clean, I think it’s rude for people to finish eating at a fast-food public area, get up and go their merry way, while leaving their litter behind. Meanwhile, the trash can is just behind them
I don’t think that it will take a minute to put these things away and to teach children to clear up after themselves. I can understand getting up and leaving used plates behind in a proper dining, fine restaurant since a waiter/waitress attends to guests and will possibly earn a tip.
