Give yourself the permission to press the reset button. That’s the spirit of creating abundance in your life. There’s no limitation to the number of times you can restart.
The tendency for a lot of people is that when they fail in something a couple of times, they automatically switch off trying. Every attempt to move forward is held back by the memories of failed attempts and some part of our ego as well.
Sometimes, greatness is not about how high up you get, but how low and humble you can become to rise to where you need to be and part of having the abundance mindset is knowing that the harder you fall, the more rebound you have when you give yourself the permission to reset that button and restart.
Remember, the only one counting is you.

Proposing to your partner is probably one of the scariest things that you’ll ever do. It’s also one of the most special nights of your life so getting it right is vital, if you mess it up too badly then they might not say yes! There are plenty of great romantic proposal ideas but so many of them have been done a thousand times before. It’ll still be nice but you have to go the extra mile to truly make it special. If you’re stuck for inspiration, why not consider one of these inventive proposal ideas?
Getting the right ring is very important. It is a symbol of your love that will be in your family for generations to come. It can be tempting to go for something traditional to play it safe, but your partner isn’t likely to be that impressed by it. You need to go for something more personal to them, it will make the whole proposal that bit more special. If you’re looking for something a bit more out there, you can get Tacori engagement rings here. They’ll be able to give you something far more unique than a bog standard engagement ring. Once you’ve got the ring sorted, you need to work out exactly how you are going to pop the question.
If your partner loves puzzles, a scavenger hunt is the perfect way to propose to them. Set out a series of clues, getting more difficult as they progress, and wait at the end ready to propose. One way of making it even more romantic is to base the scavenger hunt around places that are special to you. Perhaps your favorite restaurant or the place where you first met. They might start to work out what is going on halfway through, but that will just make it all the better when they finally reach the end.
You can get custom jigsaw puzzles made online these days and they’re the perfect way to propose. Have one made up that says ‘will you marry me?’ on it somewhere. Don’t make it too large otherwise they’ll be able to tell before they solve it. Getting a puzzle with a thousand pieces is also a pretty bad idea because your partner might get bored before they’ve finished solving it and they’ll be pretty suspicious if you are insistent that they need to finish it.
Restaurants are one of the most popular places to propose, but doing it front of all of those people might not be ideal for them. A good proposal should be a personal thing between you, not something that you share with a bunch of strangers. Instead, you should take them to their favorite restaurant and hire the entire place out just for the two of you. Try booking the restaurant fairly early, or on a weekday so they won’t get too suspicious when you arrive and nobody else is in there. They’ll never see it coming when you get the ring out and pop the question. For an extra special touch, have a string quartet come and play some romantic background music.
To become an excellent writer, it doesn’t go without saying that you also have to cultivate excellent reading habits.
No, it’s not enough to read only blog posts and the current rags, but make time for more than the cursory reading of best sellers.
Reading is like an apprenticeship and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with learning from the high achievers of the literary world.
Many people want to become the next big or upcoming author, yet it will amaze you how many of these people don’t bother to read the authors that are successful. I’ve had a number of closet writers tell me that they don’t read best sellers because most of them are rip offs and crap.
Some time ago, I mentioned in a blog post that I was reading ‘A Prisoner of Birth:‘ by Jeffrey Archer, and another blogger went full frontal attack on J. Archer and how he hires a team of writers to do his writing. How he has probably never written a full novel blah, blah.
To say the least, that was a put-off that left a negative impression.
If the idea of hiring a team of writers to hash out an idea into a book is a crime, then I’ll probably become guilty of such crime myself – hopefully, sometime in the future.
We all know that writing series of best-selling novels is not an easy feat. I’ve not written one yet, but from my writing experience, I can imagine how mentally draining and flat ass working hours are spent constructing such engaging novels.
If a writers life could be made easier by engaging others to help out with a project, then I say ‘good for them,’ besides, they are providing some income to these ghost writers as well as providing grounds for the background writer to hone his/her skills.
When someone takes the pain to describe a best seller as crap, they usually offer lame statements like:
“Oh, I read classics.” There’s absolutely nothing wrong with reading Dickens, Charlotte Bronte, Virginia Woolf, Fitzgerald and the host of dead writers out there, but the problem with this argument is that you can’t enter the huge ever-changing marketplace of books if you don’t know what the trend is and what buyers are looking out for. A lovely read. The sea carried it back and forth and decided it had had enough of the bottled passenger. I enjoyed this 🙂
What an amazing couple! This is awesome and inspiring. Selfless people like the Geraldi’s don’t come too often in this society of ours. This is the sort of news I like to read. It gives one hope.

As an adrenaline junkie, Ash was always in search of the next rush. He lived for daring feats and had literally done all sorts of daring stuff to the constant chagrin of his mother.
Diving off building tops was tame considering other adventures he had embarked on, but today was different. In response to the challenge of his long-standing competition Todd Kemp, it was a record-setting moment for his fastest free fall so far.
With safety harness all set up and onlookers gathered to cheer, he was about to step off the ledge, when the flash of his mothers repeated pleas echoed in his head.
She had warned him over the past several days not to engage in any dangerous attempts based on a recurring nightmare that she had, but he waved it off as one of her usual entreaties.
Shaking off the fleeting cold feet from hearing his mother’s voice in his head, he stepped off and tumbled down into a blackout. The last thing Ash remembered was the cacophony of voices and an insistent voice urgently cajoling him not to let go.
