Silently Loud…

Photo by Juris Freidenfelds on Pexels.com

The silence in her life

rang like a loud bell

she wanted no one to hear.

The raging loneliness

sank into her bones

solace became one with her

she no longer knew

how not to be alone

The need to end her pain

beckoned in a beguiling manner

to succumb; an option she pondered.

Little Secrets…

Flower buds

Nature unveils its’ beauty secrets

even the burning sun

can’t stop the darling buds.

She yearned secretly for him

her passionate desire

hidden and smouldering in silence

Image result for images of burning

Better burn it all

lest the secret leaks,

it’s knowledge destroying many.

Everyday People

Multiple reflections…Every day beautiful people 58

“In the mirror is where we find a reflection of our appearances, but in the heart is where we find the reflection of our soul.” unknown

“Honest self reflection opens your mind to reprogramming change, success and freedom.” Trudy Vesotsky

You must keep striving to be the reflection of all the goodness that surrounds you and all that you wish to receive; love, truth, honesty…. Jacqueline

Lift_2[1] Lift_reflection[1]

Each morning I enter the lift to my office, sometimes it’s filled to the brim with humans, sometimes just a few of us, but the common thing is the stifling silence in the little space that you can almost slice its thickness.

I always wonder why this peculiar silence happens in lifts and I  always pointedly say hello, to break it.

However, the thing that interests me most on my ride in this particular lift is the reflection of people in the mirror that runs right round.

The mirrors multiply the reflections to infinity. You see an endless replication of a person and this phenomenon simply fascinates me.

It makes me feel as if I’m watching The Matrix.

Solitude…Every day beautiful people # 50

“Sometimes I like to be left alone. Not because I’m angry, not because I’m sad, simply because I need solitude.”Brigitte Nicole

Solitude

Sometimes, you just want that solace that can be found in the silence of being alone.

You want it, just to be quiet, to mull things over and to hear clearly.

Silence is golden when savoured and solitude is not loneliness.

Out of the silent breath

Never leave me lonely

With words left unsaid

You walk away into the dark

Like a mist, that melts away.

Nerves of Steel…

Our nerves are stretched and frayed
And yes, we champ at our bits by it all
At the spate of hateful and violent attacks
Rocking the World to minutes of silence
…and viral hashtags

How can we condone this?
How can we continue like this?
What kind of horrible lives these people must live.
To harbour souls so embittered?
…and nerves made of steel.

Complete sensitivity is lost to other peoples’ lives
There are hardly words to explain such horror
And the damage that hate can do
As yet again, we are shocked from lulled senses
…and all I ask is when? When will it come to an end?
