“I really believe that everyone has a talent, ability or skill that he can mine to support himself and to succeed in life.” Dean Koontz
In my usual meandering, I came across this man weaving his fishing apparatus by the Creekside and it was quite interesting to watch his dexterous fingers as he painstakingly wove his traps.
Unfortunately, his English was non-existent and I have no idea what language he spoke but from our sign language conversation, my understanding was that he learnt his skill and trade from childhood under the tutelage of his father.
Below is my first just published Poetry Book “Out of the silent breath” which is available on Amazon and Smashwords.
When you buy my book, you support me in an invaluable manner.

Such a true quote by Dean Koontz and this man is definitely showing skill at his craft isn’t he?

True quote because once we tune into our craft we can make something out of it and it was quite interesting watching that guy.

Yes I’m sure it was. And we all have something we’re good at. 🙂

For sure, we all have a unique talent. Let’s find the will to horn these talents. What we make of what we have is what defines who we are.

I celebrate “aka-oru” because I firmly believe that within ones hands lies the talent to create. I agree with Mazi Dean Koontz. 🙂

I chuckled at the sign language conversation…there is just no limits to the lengths you’d take to engage with another person, is there?

OOO! That was an experience that you delighted it, wasn’t it? Just as Tasha said; I agree that is you. I’ve felt bad because I did not participate faithfully in Niki’s Kindness Challenge, so in bed last night I reviewed what I was going to do today, wondering how I could go about finding a kindness story. I’m not going out until church this evening, lots of kindness there but not very newsworthy. Oh, I guess I can only try it out on my husband. That might make a good story, finding out how he reacts be me being kind. 😀

He,he,he. I am sure you are usually kind to him but maybe the extra dose will cause his eyebrows to rise a bit higher 😉
