It’s hard…letting go is a long process. There’s still a lot of parenting going on during their twenties. At least with boys. Mine are in their thirties now and beyond giving support and friendship, I think my mission as a parent has finally been accomplished.

I worked hard at being a mom and made a lot of mistakes but I love my children and they survived me well. The main thing I learned is a good mom loves her children no matter the final outcome. What a child becomes is nature, nurture, and happen-stance. I was responsible for only one of those.:0)
