Midnight Motivation and Musings 73

At no age does the learning of the mind stop except the strictures that we place on ourselves.

Most times the term being set in our ways that we loosely use is actually a self-imposed and nice way of saying, I don’t want to be bothered to change.

For as long as we can keep our minds open to assimilate knowledge, our inner core is rejuvenated, constantly growing and the perspectives of our horizons remains broad.

  1. Very well said Jacqueline. Learning is a life long pursuit. One of my old bosses always told me “knowledge is portable,” you can take it wherever you go and use it for situations you would have never known you could use it. Have a restful evening Jacquelne.

      1. Thanks Jacqueline. Sorry that last comment was for your comment on my poem about my friends. Thanks for your thoughts on that and your comment on my boss. Yes he was a very sensible guy 🙂

  2. We’ve definitely disproved the whole “can’t teach an old dog” thing. We’ve found that plasticity, which is the brains ability to learn and adapt, continues throughout our lives!!
