The story of humanity is riddled with everyday people whose lives become testimonies and inspirations for others to arise from their pits of trouble to sit in victory atop the rubble.
It’s up to you to make your story the beauty around your neck and use it as a propelling force that will bring light into your life and the lives of those around you.

Words of inspiration to hold onto, Jacqueline. Not to forget that we all have the potential to write a beautiful story. One chapter does not make a life sentence.

This small saying/parable reminds me of the title of one of my favorite African Authors Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche!! Love her and Chinua Achebe!!!

Hmm. I see. Fantastic choices. Not name dropping, but I actually grew up and schooled in the same community University of Nigeria Nsukka with both Chimamanda and Professor Achebe used to be a neighbour before he moved to the US.
