Life well-loved is a chosen treasure!
A singular shot to blissful existence!
Benefits we get with utmost pleasure!
He fortifies us with desired persistence!
♥
When his face is sought with fervent endeavour!
Huge burdens becomes less of a pressure!
For he adorns us with unquantified favour!
Which takes us up to a higher measure!
♥
God! Your peace is ever so soothing, your boundless love reassures!
Taking our misery to mirth, taking all our pain to gain!
Your faithfulness is forever as Your mercy endures!
♥
The best gifts of life are all given free in the bargain!
Don’t be poor in spirit! Please cast off those chains!
Hurry! Do, come and join His Train!

In fulfillment of Writing 201 – Poetry Day 10: Pleasure, Sonnet, Apostrophe
Love it! And that quote is a new one that I will remember on the days I start to let stress get the best of me. ” Feed your faith and your fear will starve to death.” Sooooo true !!! Have a great day ! 😄 Apologies that I have not responded to the award. It’s been one of those super crazy busy weeks. 😬

This is beautiful Jacqueline. We are obviously on the same page. I would love to join a once a week forum. At the moment I am trying to produce a poem about war for the Writer’s club. It has to be in free verse and that is my least favourite. Give me rhymes and rhythm any day.

Thanks my dear Lady Jenny. I saw that too when I read yours and I smiled. I do hope more people will latch on to the weekly forum, then we take it from there. War, sounds poignant and painting pain is not particularly a joyful prospect. Good luck with it and do tag me. I would love to read what you come up with. Have a blessed day 🙂

Oh my! I’m swooning! Father’s love for me! Us! ‘When His face is sought with fervent endeavour’ – wow – I love that! So much truth packed into just a few lines. Thank you, dear sister Jacqueline.

It warms my heart Reuben when I hear things like this. When I hear people profess the Love of God without shame and the disbelief that pervades the World today. I truly thank you 🙂
