Living as You – My Thinking Corner

I knew that I would run out of fuel living as someone else, so, the best shot I’ve got at living is to live as me – Jacqueline

The best peace that we can give ourselves is to come to terms with who we truly are, embrace it and move forward from there.

Our life is intertwined with sweet and bitter moments, sometimes the bitterness tends to erode the sweetness, but I’ve learnt and still learning that we can enrich our bitter moments and turn it into fodder for sweeter moments.

Don’t stay in that categorised box where others have chosen to keep you. Liberate yourself, cut lose and live fully. You are more than a label.

You are not as alone as you think  What an uplifting post, Elihu!  Some may be on a journey where they feel all alone…

Loneliness has a way of seeping into the soul uninvited, slowly sapping our stores of joy until a gaping emptiness remains. Loneliness assaults us in the dead of night or kicks us in the gut as we jostle our way through the madding crowd. It metastasizes through our hearts and minds, increasing our susceptibility to temptation.

Who would have thought losing your hearing could be so noisy? Life can throw us a curveball any moment. How do we deal with it? Here are my comments on this post.

Oh my! What a curveball. Life brings surprises every day and sometimes they are not always wonderful surprises. I had no idea that loss of hearing could be sudden. It must be challenging relearning to manage your hearing, but you sound on top of things and the most important part is your attitude of positivity.

Quit IT! My Thinking Corner

Quotes, My Thinking Corner, Quit it

Quit carrying that baggage of guilt

it ain’t gonna buy you redemption.

Quit holding on to other people’s criticism

they have their own issues to deal with and ain’t perfect themselves.

Quit seeing yourself as not enough

nobody else can be you or as enough as you

Quit comparing yourself to others

your goal is to compete with yourself and be better than you were yesterday.

Quit bemoaning what yesterday could have been, it’s gone!

Look up to today and make it the damn best that you can.

Quit worrying about the future

when you are not done with admiring the present.

Quit holding on to your expectation of others,

it doesn’t belong to you and letting go will bring you peace.

Remember that though we are in this life together, your track belongs solely to you.
