When I saw the bicycle nicely tethered to the rail of the foot bridge and the slippers – sadly I didn’t see the owner – all that came to my mind was the word ‘locomotion.’
Assuming both items belong to the same person, he obviously wears the slippers to cycle on his bicycle from place to place, but he left both behind and probably wandered off barefoot. Who knows?
There’s absolutely no mistake,
Not in the way you were made.
You are the masterpiece of the Master sculptor.
For you are as beautiful as you allow yourself to be.
From within to without,
From the tip of your hair,
To your buck teeth,
To the flat soles of your feet,
You are you.
The you that you are is wonderful,
You are no less than anyone else.
Never spend unnecessary time comparing yourself to another,
For you are made unique.
You must remember to tell yourself this every day.
You have courage.
You have strength.
You have confidence.
You have self-respect and love.
In the stillness of the morning,
In the noise of the day,
In the darkness of the night,
Never fail to tell yourself,
That the sculptor made no mistakes with you,
From within to without,
Until you accept it,
And it is settled,
In your Spirit, Body, and Soul.
At many points in time in our lives, we struggle with doubts and this can balloon into fear which stalls our progress.
No one lives doubt-free. It questions our courage. It questions our passion and our goals. As a matter of fact, when we stop having doubts about our goals, we have to check that we are not settling in that dreaded comfort zone where nothing happens.
How do we overcome these doubts and go on to achieve those things that we desire? Here are simple everyday ways of dealing with your doubts.

Like a moth, I am attracted to light. These are just cheap pieces of glass hanging down a lamp holder, but they sure look pretty to me and they tinkle when you shake them.
Our inner beliefs define our reality. Our life’s path is paved or blocked by them. Jacqueline
Negative beliefs stick on us faster than grease on a pan and they are difficult to erase. We must learn to love and believe in ourselves because if we don’t really like who we are, we may do everything right – eat right, pray, run for miles, be kind to others etc – but we would never feel right.
The danger of allowing such inner feelings of malaise to fester and grow out of proportion is that they become a hardship to remedy. They harden like concrete over time and slowly asphyxiate other parts of who we are.
Think of this scenario: If you step into wet paint and you fail to wash off the residue quickly, it would dry up and by the time you are ready to get it off your skin will not thank you for the rough treatment. That’s the way negative beliefs – worthless, not good enough, ugly, unlovable, guilty, ashamed … treats us. Like chipping off solid concrete with a spoon.
We must not ignore addressing this inner malaise because they are physically unseen. They possess the absolute power of dictating how our lives turn out.
I’ve noticed that the greatest difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is not about luck, talent, intelligence, opportunity, resources. These factors are contributing factors to success, but it’s the belief that they can make their goals happen that makes the difference.
If you don’t believe in yourself, then it doesn’t matter how big your dreams are or how talented you are. No matter what a person’s resources are, it is the work that they put in themselves that shifts their paradigm. People who make it despite their odds is dependent on their core beliefs and in the centre of that belief is ‘you.’

I have no idea what the purpose of the red contraption is, but I found it colourful enough to draw my attention and my rough guess is that it’s something to do with the paintwork, after all, there are cans of paint in there as well 😉
The unblemished truth about our lives is that we are who we think we are, therefore, if we are dissatisfied with who we are in our present time, then we must change our thinking.
Reaching for the greatness in you is a choice. The greatness is a given, but it takes your service to bring it out. You’ve got to run after it.
It’s easy to sit down and make wishes, but success is achieved by ordinary people who make fewer excuses, who procrastinate less. The small things in life add up to the bigger picture, each day counts. Everything you do must be done to the best of your ability, even in the smallest things like picking up your own trash.
Show up every day for life with your best attitude and leave the rest for the power higher than you. Life takes notice and the Universe rewards.
Never forget that the measure you give,
is the measure you will receive.
You can’t sow corn and harvest pumpkins.
You can’t sow hatred and reap a bounty of love.
When you uplift others, you rise up with them.
However, when you spend time holding someone down,
you stay down with them because you need all your energy
to keep them pressed to the floor or the wall.
If only you can remember this,
apply it in your relationship with everyone that you meet.
You, my dear friend, will have a good measure,
pressed down, shaken and running over
added continuously to your life.
