It simply has to be the searing heat, ‘cos I’ve seen far too many dead birds this past couple of weeks. The poor things.
When I look at them, they always seem to have their feathers ruffled out of place and their beaks open in an attempt to get more air – my thoughts.
However, I preferred not to take depressing photos of the dead birds but sharing bits and pieces of my week. No one can convince me that the Earth is not gradually over heating.
Pamela took us to Jax beach and I must say that I’m a tad envious of those enjoying a good-natured weather at their end right now.
A wordsmith with a vivid imagination, an eager mind and a burning desire to carve out tales. As I journey with my muse to that land of all possibilities and self discovery, I hope my personal evolution will serve as a beacon of inspiration for anyone who chooses to stop by.

Jackie, Thank you so much for sharing these photos. The cross section of the area you captured in photos, and your sharing your event so eloquently as delicious as that piece of birthday cake! The photo of Burj Al Arab really gave me pause. Incredible! All my best to you,
I love these photographs, Jacqueline. It’s hot here too, but it has rained every afternoon for a week — cooling things down a bit. I’m happy to be inside, but I did have to make a mad dash to my car earlier in the week. 😀
I love libraries and it`s been always the place where I could put my thoughts together and get my work done. Great photo, this library looks awesome. 🙂
I love knitting too! I have to concentrate so much on my fingers that it becomes some kind of meditation session when I really put my mind into it 🙂
Sorry to read about all those dying birds… It is sad to see nature struggling like that 😦

Interestingly, I never knew that I would find knitting calming until last year. I hope the heat improves soon enough and give the poor things a break.

Don’t be envious. Come on over. There’s plenty of afternoon showers for both of us.
