I love the prompt Ronovan gave for this week’s haiku challenge, ‘Ocean & Shore’ unfortunately, it’s unimaginably hot for such indulgence.
a cooking pot and twisted tales 
Being near the Ocean. Walking along the boardwalk. Taking in the sights and sounds of the beach, sea, and sand. Now that’s the Life!!

When we needed “white sound” here to get to sleep at night, we played a tape of ocean waves pounding against the shore. Your poem and photograph recall to mind instead the recordings of whale songs. Which I also found relaxing. Ocean sounds are good to get lost into. 🙂
