How many times do we catch ourselves making plans for months to come when we’ve not finished living in the day that we are given?
Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that we shouldn’t plan for the future, but my question is, how much of the present are you living or are you simply existing and planning for a future that would most likely not occur as you planned?
It’s how we live our today that determines our tomorrow.

I do this so often it is second nature to me to plan the future and not be in the present. Good advice.

Thank you Deb. I try to stay in the present as much as I can.

The past is a closed book, the future a book not written, live on the now dance on the open page!

Being here today is not always an easy task. It is a must though if we are to remain in the here and now and not miss out on our blessings and everyday experiences. Living in the future is a sure lost of life as it is. It is a learning and practice to live in the here and now. Some people don’t seem to care and plan for tomorrow, always tomorrow.
This is a great write from you Jacqueline…very solid advice.

Thank you Mother Willow. I am learning this lesson myself and trying each day to live in the present.

Good question. Why put off to tomorrow what we can do today? Yet we procrastinate!
