Midnight Motivation and Musings 101

1466257105904[1]

In ten days, we will be out of the month of June.

The first-half of the year would be done with and we’ll be sliding into the second half.

How have you been holding up with all the plans you set out for this year?

Have you taken the time to take stock and see where you are at?

There’s still a lot of time to get rolling with all those promises you made to yourself  for this year.

Earlier in the year, I published a post ‘why our resolutions are so last season,’ and it might be worth a quick peek.

All the best as you push along. Let me speak a bit of French here:

Petit à petit, l’oiseau fait son nid. Bit by bit, the bird builds it’s nest.

The key word is to get building 🙂

Blessed be.

  1. I don’t make resolutions or plans. My only long term goal is preparing for scheduled retirement in summer 2018. I no longer have to worry or attempt to climb a career ladder that lead to nowhere.

I find if you make plans, dreams or goals that are too big you wind up being frustrated since it becomes apparent you will not accomplish them. Mindless struggling is never a good thing.

The rest of the time my goal is to enjoy life and have fun. Anyway Summer is here so it’s time to kick back and relax.

    1. You’ve got it right. Setting those resolutions can become frustrating. It’s better to make the best of each day and inculcate a purposeful lifestyle. You sound like you’ve got your Summer season set to take off on a lovely note.

      1. As the votes were going down, they were socializing like at a tea party. It’s our democratic system, but it’s so flawed. Too many special interests, NRA $$$. Not sure what kind of calamity it’s going to take, J.

I love it when you decorate my heart with your words..
