Inaction builds nothing, ever!
Even if it seems the safe route to take at the beginning, it ends up being the route to nowhere.
The truth is that in taking a bold step, making mistakes along the way helps us to combat fear and builds our confidence, while inaction to step out fosters the terror and fear that grips our minds and paralyzes our mind and eventually erodes any confidence or zest that we may have had.
There are many routes that leads up the mountain top and we must take one to climb it. We cannot stay at the foot of the hill and dream about the view from up.

I agree with you 100%!! Apathy is a type of paralysis! In it’s own pathetic way apathy is a decision. It’s a “hide your head in the sand” approach that accomplishes nothing! Nothing good anyway. Personal examples are complaints by my co-workers about workplace bullies, favoritism, & various other “isms.” I always tell them it is not sufficient for us to complain among ourselves. That does nothing. We must inform our Union reps! After all every two weeks Union dues are taken from our paychecks so let’s get the Union reps doing their jobs! Basically Mgmt is counting on fear to keep us subdued and silent. Silence = Compliance. One had to go through channels whether they be Union, Government or Legal to get things done!

Precisely! They simple murmur in the background and remain cowards and do eye-service. Speak up and save the situation. Fear is really a disease.

Love this Quote. This year has been such and amazing year, because I am determined to not let the fear of failure cause me to be inactive!

You have put it in a nut shell. Inaction may make you temporarily happy but you really do not live through it.
