In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Decisions, Decisions.”
I love spontaneity, which I try to limit to my shopping,writing and other fluffy things of life. In such times, my guts have stood the test of time.
However, in contradiction, I don’t like guessing games when it gets to the crunch time of making a serious decision.
I sit down wherever I find myself, with my note pad and pencil (never too far from me) I run the pros and cons, think and rethink before making a decision.
If I don’t have my writing material handy, who knows, I might resort to reciting Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe on my fingers and thinking the decision to death.
Eeny: Decisions, decisions
Meeny: weigh Pros on fingers
Miny: weigh Cons on fingers
Moe: Catch the Tiger by the Tail (and hope it doesn’t bite me).

Well written, I like your mastery of words.
I like to make a to-do list daily. I also like to write down my thoughts and plans.
But, I’ll admit that my relationship with my shopping list can only be described with one word “Infidelity”. I mean, I leave my home armed with my list, determined not to let my eyes stray or my thoughts wander and then… laces, chiffons, cottons and silks lock their gaze on me and seduce me.
Alas, I leave the market with more than I budgeted for, with my shopping list abandoned like an unwanted lover. 😀

You have followed me, before I could, actually today, that is now I wanted to press the follow button for you. But you have done it. That is what is spontaneity. I immediately do follow the one who has followed me, that is my guts which have stood the test of time.
