“In the mirror is where we find a reflection of our appearances, but in the heart is where we find the reflection of our soul.” unknown
“Honest self reflection opens your mind to reprogramming change, success and freedom.” Trudy Vesotsky
You must keep striving to be the reflection of all the goodness that surrounds you and all that you wish to receive; love, truth, honesty…. Jacqueline
Each morning I enter the lift to my office, sometimes it’s filled to the brim with humans, sometimes just a few of us, but the common thing is the stifling silence in the little space that you can almost slice its thickness.
I always wonder why this peculiar silence happens in lifts and I always pointedly say hello, to break it.
However, the thing that interests me most on my ride in this particular lift is the reflection of people in the mirror that runs right round.
The mirrors multiply the reflections to infinity. You see an endless replication of a person and this phenomenon simply fascinates me.
It makes me feel as if I’m watching The Matrix.

A lovely and friendly neighbour and Tess the pug. The children get on with them, especially Tess that can be such a lady despite her bull- doggish looks. They are moving away to another part of town. We’ll surely miss them.

“We didn’t realise we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun.” unknown
“Childhood is the most beautiful of all life’s season.” unknown
When I watch children play, there’s a lightness that I feel witnessing their guileless laughter, chuckles and innocence. Most people’s treasured memories are the delightful memories of their childhood.
The childhood season is a short one, let’s make timeless treasured memories for our children.

“May no gift be too small to give, nor too simple to receive, which is wrapped in thoughtfulness, and tied with love.” L. O. Baird
It was so amusing to watch the little girl reason her mother into opening the gift immediately. I know her feeling, especially on Christmas eves.
I literally have to hold my two hands from tearing into my presents. Between me and my children, I don’t know who’s more eager. My dear Himself is always the calm and collected one which it comes to present matters 🙂
P.S. Did you manage to get in for the blog party? If you haven’t it’s still live and you can peek inside this link.
Blessed be.

CURIOSITY. “Millions saw the apple fall, but Newton asked why.” Bernard Baruch
The desire to know arouses the interest of discovery. He kept peering closely at me as I fiddled with my camera, keeping me company for a lil’ bit while I explained what I was doing to him.
I told him that I was equally as curious as he is 🙂
P.S. You are invited to our monthly blog party this weekend. It’s fun and you get to meet fantastic folks

On Thursday’s, I share pictures about ‘Echos of my Neighbourhood.
I would like to invite you to participate. The challenge is quite simple.
Every Thursday, share a photo of bits and pieces of wherever you are at any point in time. It could be a house, backgrounds of your neighbourhood, activities and so forth and you can tag it Echos of my Neighbourhood, add my link to your post so that I will get the ping from your post.
Every other Thursday, I will publish a post with the links of all those who participated the previous week.
This is just a fun way of getting to see more of the World around us through your eyes since we cannot all be at those places, we could, at least, see them through you.
Roaming around
Park walk way
Loungers
The Zabeel park library
Play time
A kitty came to play
Pruning the palms
Some planets
People watching
Some part of the office where I spend most of my working week.
A peek out of my office window
Knick knacks on the window sill
We met the benevolent cat lady 🙂
These days the eye of the Sun rises sharply around 5.am over here and by mid-day, it’s steaming hot. Alas, my days of weekend park forays will be cut a little short
We managed to sneak in a park visit last week, spent some time at the lovely library, played football, ate our sandwiches and ice-cream and generally lounged till it got too hot and we left for home.
We satin our homes and travelled to many exotics locations. Hop on let’s go and see
Saying thanks: Lady Lee shows us great pieces, delicious platters and shares snippets of a wedding in London. I hope she’ll give us a peek to her trip when she returns 🙂
A lady of many talents Compelling pieces of artwork from Kat Myrman herself. She’s one bundle of a talented lady 🙂
Giggles and Tales: Absolutely gorgeous bits of Denmark. If I can climb into a picture, I would.
The village: When I say this village is enchanting, I mean total enchantment. I felt like I was reading my childhood books by Enid Blyton and those sweet romance of Barbara Cartland 😉
Thoughts and entanglements My children would totally love this place. Skateboards, calmness and crickets…
Now, don’t horde the beauty of life around you, just for yourself. Do share with us 😉

Every Tuesday, I share snippets of thoughts that I call ‘My Thinking Corner.’
I would like to invite you to participate. The challenge is quite simple.
Each Tuesday, share your very short snippets of positive, inspiring, motivating, health, spiritual, writing advice, clips, posts etc, that can serve as a prop to motivate others and simply add my link to your post.
I call it my thinking corner because, I actually take out a bit of time just to think through things, encapsulate my thoughts as much as possible and detoxify my mind. It helps give me clarity of vision and might help you too.
It might work for you in a different way, but the idea is to get the positive thoughts flowing.
Please send in your little thoughts. You never know whose life you might inspire.
♥ There’s a lot going on in life to be bothered with the noisome pettiness of things that aren’t worth the time of your life. Let go and move on!
♥ When you impart positive knowledge you influence eternity. You have no idea where the influence ends due to its ripple effects. Don’t stop imparting.
♥ Practice kindness for Providence never forgets.
♥ Who will change it? It’s you and I.
♥ Your plans are not as important as what you’ve done. Get doing!
Today’s thoughts came in from beautiful thinkers:
Killing fear: I like letting quotes like this sink in and repeat.
“Don’t let people pull you into their storm. Pull them into your peace.” Kimberley Jones
The ladies in the photograph hold their fingers up in the sign of peace.
Peace! We all crave it. We all cherish it. Yet it seems that in today’s political climate, peace is far from what a whole lot of people are currently experiencing.
May we have peace.
