La, di, da, anyway, let’s get it going. Please do send in your precious links to your inspiring, interesting posts that you want others to eyeball so that I can share with my supportive readers. Let’s revive this comatose feature. It will feature twice weekly and you can add your link ‘through this loop,’

Over the hill on the yellow brick road

Cathi’s blog posts are simply unique, engaging, humour-filled, with doses of wisdom tucked in between. I doubt I will ever look at peas in a pod or Swiss cheese, old shoes and everything in-between the same way again. She has excellent conversations with the most mundane things in life. Take a peek.

Compassion, Grace, and Mercy

This simple post is such an outpouring of love and goodness. I love it. Are you the beloved? Why not find out.

Family parenting and beyond

Check out Joan’s blog. You will find a plethora of enriching posts. Joan is a wise old woman in a young woman’s body 😉

Take a look. What comes to your mind? Poignant photo. Like is said, an image can relay a thousand words or thoughts and Deborah’s words simply tugs at some strings.

How tough can it get?

Every day, I see or read about another inspiring woman and these little stories keep me going.

Reasons why being single is becoming more desirable

What’s your opinion? Are people better off staying single and unmarried? Is marriage too much of a hassle?

Samhain blessings

You learn something new every day. I must admit I didn’t know what Samhain meant before now.

Exercise Winter Wonderland

You’ve done the excuse thing all through the year and now you’ve got the perfect excuse called Winter. No more excuses.

What I did on my Summer vacation

A beautiful post that will make you smile. Perhaps you’ll learn a thing or two things 🙂

I search in vain

I can totally relate to this poem. If I may ask, what pigeonhole are you squeezed into?

The last fragile whispers

I started my morning reading this lovely piece and commented:

Oh my, this is absolutely delightful and tender. A life cycle covered in a heart-tugging, well written short prose. I totally love this Oneta

The unspoken truth

Have you read ’13 Reasons why?’ I haven’t. Consequent to reading Jamila’s post, I’m inspired to watch and read the book.

It’s important to treat others right. Treat them with kindness you would never know but it could save a life. Also, it’s important to be aware of our actions, aware of the words we are saying. It’s impossible to know what’s going on in someone’s life and how we might be adding to his/her pain.

Indoor walkways

These fabulous, timeless walkways will inspire you to go clicking your camera.

The struggle for human rights

The struggle for human rights has literally gone on forever. Sometimes, it seems we are going backward.

Let’s talk

Short and evocative. There’s a stanza in there just for you to ponder on.

Woman wanting to strengthen relationships with other women

An interesting good read that will get your thoughts rolling.

Do you find it easy to connect and build great relationships with other women or do you prefer male friends?

Reaching out

Watch This! My thoughts below:

The first gives you some faith in human kindness whilst the second cuts your breath off. I have a brother-in-law who drowned four years ago in Toronto and watching this made me think of him. Could someone have helped him – he went with some colleagues to the Lake – but they chose not to?
The second shows what’s all that’s wrong with human kind. It hurts the soul to see these things.

My PPA

The life of a fresh Nigerian graduate. Funny article – but not a funny reality. My comments below:

You take me back to the days of fresh out of school where they feel you should be happy to be employed – free-of-charge 🙂

Tales From The Bench

Fantastic image to go with a delightful tale. How we take these mundane things in our lives for granted, yet they know so much about us. If the articles that we use on a daily basis could talk, I can only imagine what they would have to say

The Ties That Bind

Absolutely heartwarming vignette. Here’s what I had to say:

Can I say beautiful like others have echoed? Oh Roo, you make me think of my siblings and have a lump in my throat. A wonderful family is everything.

Tea Party Time – Let’s Groove

It’s blog party fun time again. The year is fast winding down and before you know it, we will be basting Turkeys and singing Auld Lang Syne.

How’s your end holding up? Life has been a bit hectic and upsetting in many ways, but we’ve got to keep pushing and looking at the positive side of things.

If this is your first-time visit, the house rules of play are outlined below, if you are an old-timer, you know the drill.

Grab some refreshments which are nicely arranged down the page. Feel free to indulge, these are zero calories😉

Just some little party rules:

  1. Mix and mingle with others. Don’t be a wallflower. Go say hello to someone.
  2.  Please leave your blog link or post link in the comment box below along with introductions.
  3. It’s one link per comment, but come back as often as you’d like, that way it’s easier to focus on a link at a time for others.
  4. Please reblog, spread the word of the party like butter, or like, share on Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Facebook, etc.
  5. Have fun, it’s a great way to find bloggers and have them find you.
  6. Please show some love. Reblog this post. It helps all of us! The more people that see and participate in it, the more potential new follows! So, share and share voraciously!

Thank you for coming to the party and do have a great weekend.

I am the proud author of my latest book ‘Unbridled.’ Do check it out on Amazon. I appreciate your support.

‘Unbridled is a collection of uncensored, bold poems. The author speaks without niceties. The soul of each poetry tugs at the depth of your being and the writing style makes it easy to identify with the emotions of the character in each poem. If you are looking for the unspoken truth that society would rather brush under the carpet, I recommend you read Unbridled.’ – Ekaete Augustine-Edet

Weekend Tea Party Invitation

Well there you go, with Daily Post sending out a prompt for tea, it seems they are in sync with me.

Y’all know that this girl here loves a good party even if it’s a virtual one, so consider this an invitation to the monthly blog party 🙂

These days I’ve reduced my coffee intake to just a cup of decaf in the mornings. For now, I am imbibing more of Chai Latte or Karak Chai, especially in the evenings when I kick back to read blogs and round up for the day. Drinking more coffee would only make my hyper active mind and insomnia worse because my mind has been consumed with thoughts of my book projects and how to make my second poetry book a success.

Let’s get together for tea and scones this weekend.

Party Time: Saturday 29th – Sunday 30th July

Look forward to seeing you.

Jacqueline

A great prompt idea to try out. I enjoyed how Pamela interlaced the mixed tape prompt with intimate insights of her life.

Female Flapper

Who do you think you are in your dreams and imagination? Be honest and take a peek at your inner thoughts. I like this quote that I borrowed from Deborah.

IMAGINATION AND DAY DREAMS CAN TAKE YOU PLACES WHERE REALITY DOES NOT PERMIT YOU TO GO. FANTASY…………..HAPPINESS……

Lessons for living the book that shaped my personality

A beautiful, positive post to start your day. Once I started reading I had to finish it.

Although I’m from a Hindu family, I did my primary schooling from a Christian school named St. Luke’s, in Himachal, and I’m glad that happened.

Second Chance Mushroom

An enjoyable story. Below is my comment.

What a twist in the tale. I am glad it was just a daydream into the future. I hope she gets to move to her dream neighbourhood. Great story.
