My life is an ancient library
with time-worn tedious steps to climb;
inside are dark cavernous spaces
with old precious books of fine writing
but yet, there are still many plain pages
waiting to be written on.

A wordsmith with a vivid imagination, an eager mind and a burning desire to carve out tales. As I journey with my muse to that land of all possibilities and self discovery, I hope my personal evolution will serve as a beacon of inspiration for anyone who chooses to stop by.

Very beautifully written I love the images of the library that is you, me, and all the other lives that are being written as we live our lives. My hope is that when the day comes that my library is complete that there is more love, kindness, compassion, and life lived being humble and in the service of my Lord and Savior. Thank you for sharing this it is a beautiful image you have given me.

Thank you too. I would love to finish as a library built on love and a testimony of a life lived in Christ.

Same here because without love nothing else matters and it is impossible to serve Jesus without love. My mother always told me I wore my heart on my shirt sleeve and I needed to toughen up. I have come to disagree because even though I have been really hurt many times, it is better that I put forward love and what they did with it is not on me it is on them, If I put a hard front forward to every person I meet then I do a disservice to Jesus and what He tells us about love and even loving our enemies so even when it hurts I always want to put love forward.
