Yay!! It’s Party Time, Come Right In

Yay! It’s fun time this time. Can you believe that January is finished already? Phew! I can’t stop saying it, time sure flies.

Welcome to my house and Happy New Year to all those I haven’t chatted with this year. I hope your weekend is going great.

Here is a toast to a great year.

    I guess this is where I introduce myself. I am Yinglan and I am currently blogging from China. A month ago, I was living in a small suburb 30 miles from Salt Lake City and now, I am out of the snowy weather and celebrating Chinese New Year with my family in China.

    Happy Chinese New Year, by the way! 😀

    The festivity is so much more awesome here than in the U.S. I’ve been receiving red envelopes all day. Anyway, I am attending a new year party in a short while, so I will be back to mingle later.   21. Jacqueline, so lovely to see you, and thanks for the invite. Great to see so many dropping by and some travelling from so far away. I’m in Stapleford, near Nottingham (where the sheriff used to be so nasty to Robin Hood).

  22. Hi Jacqueline. Thanks for the invitation to your party. Good idea and it was fun to see you in person on your video. I am busy today getting ready for an open studio at my house. It is part of the Art Walk in La Manzanilla–a seaside village on the west coast of Mexico where I will be for 3 months this year. The past few years I’ve been here for 2 months a year but the time seems to get shorter and shorter so I expanded it this year. For the rest of the year, I live in San Juan Cosala on Lake Chapala in Jalisco. (Near Guadalajara.) My blog is mainly a daily poem that I write for the WordPress Prompt and several photo blogs–many of them Cee’s challenges. Please stop by. Later today, I’ll post some more photos of my art. Meanwhile, have a peek at “Boob Tube!” I’ll peek at several blogs as well and more once this open studio is out of the way. Happy January.

  32. Jacqueline thank you for the invite to the party. Yours are some of my most favourite parties because I wake up late on a Saturday and there’s fruit and chocolate cake waiting for me. The best combination anytime of day. There is no time of day chocolate cake isn’t a good thing 🙂

    I wanted to share a blogging tip, as I go through some new blogs and I do this a lot at parties. I get a bit annoyed when a blogger doesn’t have a follow me button of some kind near the top side of their page, especially when I search and search and can’t find it. So please for the sake of those who wish to follow you by email, have some type of follow me button very visibly at the top and bottom of your blog, whether it be to receive emails by following you, or it is a WordPress follow button or a’suscribe to this blog button’ anything works. Make it easy for people to want to follow you 🙂 I say this in a most helpful way if you catch my drift.

    Also, please if you’re not offended now, feel free to Checkout my blog. It’s http://www.mandibelle16.wordpress.com. I write a vsriety of poetry, short fiction, sometimes serial fiction, and nonfiction pieces such as blogger/writer interviews biweekly and beauty hauls every few months, a long with some pieces on fashion or beauty and interior design intermingled as a recent beauty piece I had was.
