I love seeing people dressed in their rich native or cultural attires that depict their cultural heritage.
The beautiful lady’s outfit caught my eye from a distance and by the time I took the photo I observed that her clothing blended with the colour combination of her surroundings 😊

Yes. It is something I love to see too. In Africa -we had many chances to see different cultural traditional styled people dress.

Strength lies in the difference!! Such wise words.
I have seen many people who refuse to give up on their ethnic values and traditions. And they are the strongest, most endearing people around.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful picture J!

Love the flowing colors and patterns! In the States years ago I once overheard a couple of women criticizing an Eastern Indian woman’s apparel in town, “why can’t they wear what everyone else does… Ya know, blend in…” As I passed I couldn’t help myself, I said, “I can’t imagine how droll that world would be.” I didn’t watch for their reaction. I’m delighted that much of society has changed since then. = >

I certainly can’t imagine what a dreary world it would be if we all walked, dressed, talked and behaved alike. Certainly not interesting.
