Summery Blog Party Live Link…Come on in!πŸ˜ŠπŸ™ŒπŸŽ‘πŸŽΆπŸŽΌπŸπŸ•πŸ‘

Merry

Come on in, let’s get this party started. You are most welcome.

Do make yourself comfortable.

Refreshments are nicely arranged down the page: Drinks, Chocolates, Cakes, Donuts, freshly squeezed juice, Coffee, Tea and so much more. :-)

We even have an Intercontinental Chef in the house, just place your ordersπŸ˜‰

The little rules of play:

  1. You must mix and mingle with others. Don’t be a wallflower. Go say hello to someone and you can participate in the Tag a poem/story below, spot the difference, riddle and do tell us where you are partying from πŸ™‚
  2. Β Please leave your blog link or post link in the comment box below along with an introduction.
  3. It’s one link per comment, but come back as often as you’d like, that way it’s easier to focus on a link at a time for others.
  4. Please reblog, spread the word of the party like butter, or like, share on Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Facebook, etc. Tell your family, friends, Β blogging neighbours, even your blogging pets.
  5. Have fun, it’s a great way to find bloggers and have them find you.
  6. Please show some love. Reblog this post. It helps all of us! The more people that see and participate in it, the more potential new follows! So, share and share voraciously!

There we have it. Since all the rules have been clearly explained, have fun and make the most of it :-)

Thank you for coming to my party and supporting my blog. You rock.

  • Let’s get to know you better. Where are you partying from?

I’m currently in Dubai – acronym DXB. A fabulous desert city in United Arab Emirates.

A little Summer tale…

We wore Summer dresses

spun like flower coloured cotton

that sat on each stalk

…….Feel free to add yours in the comment. I collate everyone’s contribution and publish it with their links attached.

Can you spot the difference?

Can you help the poor farmer below?

A poor farmer went to the market to sell some peas and lentils. However, as he had only one sack and didn’t want to mix peas and lentils, he poured in the peas first, tied the sack in the middle, and then filled the top portion of the sack with the lentils.

At the market, a rich innkeeper happened by with his own sack. He wanted to buy the peas, but he did not want the lentils.
Pouring the seed anywhere else but the sack is considered soiling.

To trade in sacks is not allowed. The farmer can’t cut a hole in his sack.
How would you transfer the peas to the innkeeper’s sack, which he wants to keep, without soiling the produce?

Please have some fun, mingle and make friends. Thank you πŸ™‚

P.S. You can send in your music request and I’ll try to find it. The Michael Jackson is on Nedoux request. Thank you, girl.

I am Ellen from England today is part of a long bank holiday weekend and bird song fills the air, the sun shines and Every day is wonderful.

The missing thing is the flag.

    2. Wooh this song is awesome. I’m having a full on dance session. You rock Jaque. I will have a mocktail . I can’t think of what to add to the poem because I – am too busy dancing. I just want to say hola to everyone. I’m living in the U.K. – it’s a good turn out so far. So many lovely places and interesting people. I would like a bit of Nina Simone – I am my freedom. I recently watched a Netflix documentary on her life. I had no ide what a huge part she was of the american civil rights movement. I’ve always loved her voice and I admire strong spirits.

  3. Hi All !!!
I am from India from the state of Karnataka.
Suddenly I got into this party on and rushed in my casuals.
I am impressed by the food kept here, I think I shall go back dressup well and come, as many shall come in their party suits or in good attire. By then I shall be still more hungry to relish all this stuff. I am enjoying the music; shaking my hand and head right now. When I come back, shall shake my body too.
Till then Partyyyyy you folks !!!!

  4. its afternoon tea time here on the equator and i am in air conditioned comfort (always longing for the cold), your food spread is so delicious i am going to help myself to everything, thank you for being the perfect host.

i am Gina and i love reading quotes so here’s one i just read:
β€œYesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” ― Rumi

I look at the two photos and could not see anything different, everyone seemed to be having a fun time at the beach!

Peas and lentils, oh what a bother, now if it were diamonds i would soak the contents in water and let them sparkle in the sunshine.

I am loving Ruth B’s song Lost Boy now and its on constant replay , i am dreaming i am Wendy Darling.

If you have a spare moment visit me at https://alifelesslivedblog.wordpress.com/

i may pop over later for seconds, your party is just awesome!

    1. AH! Tea time! My favorite is Darjeeling, which I’m sipping right now from a real china tea cup. Loving it! And yes, I love winter in the USA, of which we don’t get enough here in southern Missouri for my particular taste.

Here’s my addition to the Summer Tale –

    With bright coloured chalk,
    Whispered sweet nothings

    ruffled the spun flowery cotton
    sweet summer scents floated
filling the air with sensuous delight

    1. Hi Stephanie, I lived in Michigan for almost 8 years and feel like I saw more of that state than my home state of Pennsylvania. From Escanaba to Detroit, Kalamazoo to Mackinac, Ann Arbor to Traverse City. It was a fun time. ☺

      1. Thank you Jacqueline πŸ˜₯ I have learned to live in the now and not worry too much for the future. In fact I live for her memory. I started this blog to handle my grief. It really helps, and I help others too. I have many who follow this blog and my FB page who have lost children, we are not a club anyone wants to belong too. Gracias for your fun blogging party!

My blog is still pretty new, and it’s about my experience and things I’ve learned along the way, about addiction and mental health. There have been many tears but much more laughter on this trip. I choose to laugh as often as posssible, cos life gives reason to be serious far too often. πŸ™‚
This party is PERFECT, especially as we in the states celebrate Memorial Day.

It’s been a while since I’ve played spot the difference. I spot 6 differences.

The farmer is definitely in a dilemma. I suppose if he can, he could’ve held the peas in a separate bag or cloth inside the sack, thus he can put both the peas and lentils in the same sack without mixing.

I will go mingle now. My blog is This is Another Story and here is the link:
