There we have it. Since all the rules have been clearly explained, have fun and make the most of it πŸ™‚

Thank you for coming to my party and supporting my blog. You rock.

CAN YOU SPOT THE DIFFERENCE?

Let’s add some SPRING to the tale πŸ™‚ You can crack your Story telling imaginationΒ by contributing to this tag along Spring fiction below. The full story will be published on my Tuesday’s Trivia with every part attributed to the contributor. So here goes…

Buds of Spring

Georgette looks out of the window

The cold is fast thawing out and little fresh sprigs are sprouting.

It should be warm soon

Yet the coldness in her heart did not match the liveliness of the budding Spring

Her heart feels like a ghost town.

Where is he?

He promised her everything and she believed in him…

Counting the days and hoping that it’s just a dream.

‘Back in my home country, when we call for a party, we call for a party. We don’t skimp. Our hospitality is legendary. We even give out party tokens, so help yourself to an Easter Party Pack. You are welcome :-)’

      1. Hi Marquessa, I took a trip to your blog, I had to travel despite the harsh cold. I must say it was worth it because the first words I saw, made my day. Ok, I need to be nice, Jacqueline’s party has also made my day.Hehehe

      1. Thanks Marquessa. Yes my vision is the equivalent of someone with advanced macular degeneration but the cause of my sight loss (I have no central vision) is macular holes followed by a host of other unrelated issues that followed after the development of the first hole. Thank you for following, I really appreciate it! Steph

  1. Thanks for the invite. Sorry for being fashionably late – actually managed to sleep well for a change.

This is my first blogger’s get together. I’ve brought cake (and other tasty treats) in the form of a food-related poem I wrote a while ago. Hope some of you who haven’t already read it will enjoy it. If you like this one, I’d really appreciate a Follow on my site (encourages me to write when I think people actually want to read it). You can find my poem “Food For Thought” here:

    Food For Thought

I have more food-related poems on my site but the rules say one link per comment, so I’ll take my time and eat a crumpet for now.

  4. GM everyone, I’m sitting here enjoying my big cup of java, croissant and fresh fruit and reading your blogs. It’s a busy Saturday but I do love brunch and meeting new people.

My name is Tikeetha and I blog over at http://athomaspointofview.com/ where I write about my life as a mother, divorced woman, dating, relationships and everything in between.

I’m sorry to dine and dash especially after listening to the slow jams of our DJ but my son has swim practice, choir practice and a birthday party. I’m stopping by tonight to check out your blogs.

The bunnies look good so I’ll have four. I brought some croissants, I’ll put them next to the rolls. I can nibble on some of the chocolate croissants…
There goes my figure. Oh well. Can’t wait to see more of you, so I’ll go visiting. Feel free to visit me at

We are currently going through a heatwave. It will last the next five days. The govt recommended we avoid meat and eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Great help that is,considering it’s too hot for me to go outside and I don’t have any fruits in the house!
At least there is Jacqueline’s Brunch party.
Join in and have some fun.

  12. Hi Jacqueline, hi all, I’m here, virtually visiting and trying to escape the “sick house” of husband and 2 offspring 😨

I better stick to a cuppa tea rather than the Bacardi – it’s gonna be a long day – my legs have worn down running up and down the stairs administering love and care in the form of sick bowls and paracetamol – whilst muttering swear words under my breath 😁

I’ll pop in and out today just to stop me smothering husband under his pillow 😁

    I’m Nicky from http://www.nickysdaywithautism.com
I am a wife and mom of 2. My son MJ has autism and is 11 years old. My daughter just turned 9! My blog is mainly about our life raising a son with autism. It was very difficult in his early years and it is within the last 3 years that I have FINALLY been able to talk about everything we have gone through.
