For two days running, I have seen this abandoned scooter and I am wondering which child left it behind. There’s a park close by.
Tongue in cheek, I dare say it belongs to a boy, from mere deductions of the Ben 10 image on it and the colour as well.
I bet he will tell his mother that he doesn’t know who took it 😉
I would have loved to be there and to see his wide-eyed innocence when he says ‘I don’t know who took it.’
So many scenarios have played in my head and I am writing a children’s story about it 🙂
Walking energizes me both physically, spiritually, mentally and so much more.
Nice……….

I hope so Mel. Let me use the opportunity to invite you to the Bloggers brunch that I am hosting over the weekend Saturday – Sunday. I believe it will be fun to mingle with others. The invitation is titled, It’s Brunch Party Time. I will send one out again tomorrow. My regards.

Me too. Will there be a communal poem written at this brunch? Thank you for the invitation 🙂 I will try to pop in. I’m not sure when I will be around this weekend. I have to do the family thing and time flies with them 🙂

I understand how busy it can get. I am still trying to figure out if between poetry or light short story on spring snippets.

Sometimes, it churns so much that I wonder how to quieten them.

I used to run and that was where I found my energy and reflective time. However, 25+ years of running took a toll on my knees, so now I walk. It is a gentler pace, but still offers the same energy and reflection. I love the inspiration you found in this scooter, so carelessly cast aside. 🙂

You ran for 25+ years!! Wow. That’s a feat. I don’t run so much because of knee pains as well. I’ve always had Myalgia though I cope well with it. I love the walks indeed. They are so refreshing 🙂

Hmm! That’s scary though. I didn’t think in that line because this place is relatively safe. If I was back in the US or Nigeria, I would have thought wicked things.

Nice! Did you write the children’s story based on the abandoned scooter? Do share with us. I think it’s similar to a photo prompt except that it’s in real life!
