I like the two words for this week’s Ronovan’s haiku. Maybe because I like milk and it’s smoothness as it glides down the throat. I tried my hand on several and I wasn’t sure which one I liked most 🙂
She found the perfect wedding gown
Pearls placed, garters arranged
Silk creamy smooth, just like milk
********
Her smooth skin glistened as she twirled
She looked delicious and perfect
Like warm glass of milk and cookies
******
He was so smooth with his talk
I didn’t believe my luck
Until he wanted to milk me dry

My favorite is the second one. It reads like a smooth swirl.:0)

Awww men! Did not see the bad ending coming! I love them all…but the last one is my least favourite..who loves bad endings?

Well done. Like a fairy tale with a bad ending and realistic view at life.

I love the first one; the series has a fairy tale feel, as amanpan said.

It’s almost like a story written in Haiku.

They’re all very nice–the last one, I felt a visceral tug 🙂

Great takes on the prompt words Jacqui. My favourite was the last one for sure! 🙂

I love the flow from one haiku to another. Like you said, it reads like a haiku story. Those smooth talkers with hidden motives are an insult to ‘love.’

They should be shot in the knee caps 😉 Thank you Olga

Great combination of haiku and they tell a story. I love the twist at the end. 😉
