Photrablogger says,
This is a challenge created to find beauty in almost everything. The challenge is simple : find beauty in everyday mundane things, capture the beauty and upload the photographs
A harmless and mundane piece of equipment that we all seem to own.
Yet it’s known to make girls happy and sad too.
Makes them happy when the arrow points in the direction of the left and makes them upset, muttering *Oh No!* Oh dear!* What? I shouldn’t have eaten that last slice* when the balance of the scale tilts a bit to the far right.

Haha, very true! Mine sits under bathroom cabinet, the more I think of not mounting it, the more I think about it. Well, I only step on it when I know I have been ‘good’ to my guts…

Folake dear, I know precisely what you mean. On days I have been naughty, I avoid mine with a lot of pragmatism 🙂

Hahahaha! Spot on Jackie!
I am so scared to step on the scales, considering the damage that I did over the Christmas holiday, plenty fried chicken and rice.
I am reminded of a quote I saw- “Chocolates spend a moment on your lips and a lifetime on your hips.” 😀

Nne, I have not stepped on mine yet. I looked at it this morning in total disdain. Let me try and be good for two weeks and see 🙂

It’s too cold to deal with the Christmas excess yet!

I didn’t know what it was until you said it was a scale. LOL! A device of pure torture. Haha!

Ameena, I know many times that I have felt like throwing my bathroom scale out of the window 😉

To be honest, I have owned a scale. I would know my weight by doctors appointments and by my sister (if I really want to know). I keep tabs on my weight by how my body reacts to physical activities or if my clothes feel tightet or looser. I care for healthy living than a particular size, speaking of which I need to remotivate myself to take start daily walking again.

You are quite good and disciplined with your lifestyle. That’s good. I would be better off without the chocolates. I am thinking of suing Cadbury for being responsible for such sweetness 🙂

Haha, you would make Cadbury lawyers laugh. My lifestyle came about as a sort of force of habit from childhood. I do not think I am totally disciplined because I do lament about shedding some pounds and that is why I spoke motivating myself to start back walking on early mornings.

I totally enjoy my morning walks, though the pounds are not shifting as much 😉

It took a weeks when I saw some results for myself but the walking is good for the heart and your spirit. Feeling the cool breeze, hearing the birds does something good for my insides.

Tell me about it. Actually, I have a little post that I will send out about my refreshing walks.

Nice, might just use that to substitute for that particular day walk and for other days, more excuses. Ha la ha.
