This Instrument Of Torture….Mundane Monday

Photrablogger says,

This is a challenge created to find beauty in almost everything. The challenge is simple : find beauty in everyday mundane things, capture the beauty and upload the photographs

A harmless and mundane piece of equipment that we all seem to own.

Yet it’s known to make girls happy and sad too.

Makes them happy when the arrow points in the direction of the left and makes them upset, muttering *Oh No!* Oh dear!* What? I shouldn’t have eaten that last slice* when the balance of the scale tilts a bit to the far right.

  1. Hahahaha! Spot on Jackie!

I am so scared to step on the scales, considering the damage that I did over the Christmas holiday, plenty fried chicken and rice.

I am reminded of a quote I saw- “Chocolates spend a moment on your lips and a lifetime on your hips.” 😀

  2. To be honest, I have owned a scale. I would know my weight by doctors appointments and by my sister (if I really want to know). I keep tabs on my weight by how my body reacts to physical activities or if my clothes feel tightet or looser. I care for healthy living than a particular size, speaking of which I need to remotivate myself to take start daily walking again.

      1. Haha, you would make Cadbury lawyers laugh. My lifestyle came about as a sort of force of habit from childhood. I do not think I am totally disciplined because I do lament about shedding some pounds and that is why I spoke motivating myself to start back walking on early mornings.

      2. It took a weeks when I saw some results for myself but the walking is good for the heart and your spirit. Feeling the cool breeze, hearing the birds does something good for my insides.
