Your Love To Me….

Love birds

Y our tender gift of love to me makes my heart combust into heated waves;
O ver the years you unfurl and surprise me some more;
U ndaunted you give generously of yourself;
R egardless of how grumpy my own ways might be;

L et’s tie the knot my love, you said to me;
O ur love will endure till oceans dry out like deserts you assured;
V alidating your vows and promises to me;
E specially through the endless ebbs and tides of life;

T ender with tough tenacity, you have stood so strong;
Obinna!
M y one and only;
E nigmatic and excellent example of a gentlemanly husband!

  1. Beautiful! We don’t write for our men enough. Your words speak to me because they describe the love of my life. There for me when I had nothing to give…he’s always believed in me from day one. We’re so different yet our core values are one in the same. I need to share this 🙂 xo

      1. Lol I’m sure I drive my guy up the wall…we both are guilty of that no doubt but I would miss our quirks if they weren’t there. I wouldn’t know what to do lol

  2. Hello. I really enjoyed reading your acrostic poem. Your simile is apt and I loved the alliteration as well. Bonus points! You have a small typo in the line “validating your vows..” . The r is missing..
    Your love for your husband shines through in this poem.
