Hope · Inspiration - Motivation

Passion in Hope…

all is not lost

A new day and renewed hope.

Hope, that little voice that says maybe,

Even when everything says maybe not.

Work with hopeful passion and you will gain momentum.

Work only for money, you gain tedium and you wear thin.

As you step into another new week,

Search out for the silver linings even in the dark clouds,

The hope that burgeons in your heart,

is your beacon that points you to your prosperity.

Remember that prosperity has a different meaning,

From one person to the other,

Prosperity is not only dependent on how much you made,

But equally measured by the satisfaction that you gained.

Be at peace.

  1. Wow Jacqueline!
What a lovely poem with so deep meaning! I love the picture, too. Always, pictures capture my attention. I just want to ask you a question: Is it a talent to write creatively or we can learn it? I just wonder if I can write poems or short stories.I feel I have a huge motivation, but when it comes to writing, it is not an easy job at all. Any advice!

I am looking forward to hearing from you, y creative friend!

    1. I believe that dedicated practice in anything brings about perfectionism and this also applies to writing. I don’t believe all writers are born talented, but some hone their skills with learning. You can try little scribbles in a journal and take it from there. You might just surprise yourself 🙂

      1. You know I am working on my PhD on developing creative writing; writing stories specifically. I created a program for my students that help them to improve their skills of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Their writings are better than mine. Actually, they have so rich imagination. I come to the conclusion that maybe I have no the narrative style of writing. I am a little bit good at the expository or argumentative ones, I bet. Anyway, I will follow your advice and start my small scribbles and see how far I go with them ..

Thank so much for your fruitful discussion!
