Rononvan's Weekly Haiku Challenge

All Fall Down…Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Challenge

Ronovan gives us a pair of haiku prompts ‘ Home & Leaves,’ that fall into the seasons’ theme. Here’s my take on it.

Nothing satisfies me like a beautiful evening,

seated at home sipping tea;

watching the leaves wave in the wind.

Now the leaves all come falling down,

tapestry in rustic brown mounds;

nature decorating the yards of many homes.

Homeowners may sometimes feel tired and grumpy,

having to gather endless heaps

of leaves, that continue to fall down.

Rononvan's Weekly Haiku Challenge

Dazzling and Scorching – Ronovan writes weekly haiku challenge

Sun[1]

You are certainly moving with the times Ronovan by giving us a prompt ‘Dazzle & Sky’ that aptly matches the blazing Sun that comes out so early these days and the heat is not mild by any means. The photo I used for the prompt was taken this morning around 5.00 a.m. when I woke up.

Recently, as early as 4:30 a.m.

the Sun rises, rays dazzle and glow

in the Middle-Eastern sky.

 😎😎

It’s brilliance warms you up

if you can catch an early walk

under the dazzling clear sky

♨♨

When you miss the hour

that the Sun gently embraces the sky

you’ll face dazzling, scorching heat.

A Season and Friends like this…

Happy[1]

I love the blooming flowers and the cheery mood on people’s faces. There’s something very pretty about this season, even if we are all sneezing in my house at this point in time.

I appreciate that it’s not yet baking hot which is a condition synonymous to the Middle East and as such, I am still taking advantage of the airiness of the outdoors and spending as much time as I can before it all changes.

I am quite thankful for the connections that I have made in this space.

Some bloggers have extended their hands of fellowship way beyond my expectations this past week in their show of kindness to me.

To you dear Dehan Taylor and Tasha , I say thank you.

Both of you might not see what you’ve done as much, but it means a lot to me.

I sincerely appreciate your care and can only leave this word of blessing for you, ‘as you show love to those around you, you pave way to your own greatness.

I hope that you are thankful for something today. You can join Colline’s  or Maria Jansson gratitude challenge platforms.

Potato spuds…Mundane Monday

Mundane Monday Challenge is created to find beauty in almost everything.

The challenge is simple : find beauty in everyday mundane things, capture the beauty and upload the photographs.

Potatoes[1]

I bought sweet potatoes for my three days menu plan, by the time I got to use it, it had started sprouting.

That gave me a little pause to dwell on the life cycle of a plant, or the potato as the case may be.

Life does not need us to happen all by itself.

The potato showed signs of not minding being replanted to yield more harvest.

Are you replanting something?
