I Love This Comment From Yesterday:

CupCakeCache Trying to keep it simple is a good idea!

DancingPalmTrees:  I have dreams, hopes and goals but I gave up the outlandish fantasy expectations long ago. Yes I want to take my art and photography further but life is not a competition.
When opportunities arise I take advantage of them.

Whatever is meant to be will be. I don’t have grandiose out of reach expectations. I enjoy creating my artwork and photography for the pure joy of it. That way I stay happy and at peace with myself.

P.S. If you wish to join this positive affirmation challenge running for 90 days, please add your quote to the comments and each day, I’ll share everyone’s quote with their links.

  1. ” Remember that no one kicks a dead dog”.

About a century ago, the Prince of Wales( the future Edward VIII) attended the Dartmouth College in Devonshire. He was about 14 years of age. One day one of his teachers found him crying and asked him what was wrong. He refused to tell at first, but finally admittend that he was kicked by the naval officers, his classmates and others. The Commodore of the college summoned the boys and explained to them that the Prince had not complained but he wanted to find out why the Prince had bee singled out for the kicking.
After much humming, hawing and toe scraping, the cadets finally confessed that when they themselves became commanders and captains in the King’s Navy, they wanted to be able to say, they had once kicked the King!
