What About You? Affirmation Challenge Day 24

I am ready to prosper beyond my expectations. I am worthy of a positive cash flow and I break the chains of every mental, spiritual, physical, emotional resistance to attracting financial growth. Jacqueline

A lot of artists/writers/bloggers feel uncomfortable and embarassed about addressing the money issue and their material needs. They think that wanting to earn more than a pittance makes them less authentic. Well, the truth is that whether you are authentic or not, we all have bills to pay and if you don’t take care of the financial side of your existence, these bills will surely give you a rude awakening.

Of course, most of us do what we do for the love of doing it, but it’s certainly okay for your passion to grow from just being a hobby to an incredible pipeline of sustainable income. Be fruitful and multiply.

I love this quote from yesterday:

DancingPalmTrees: Speaking of being fruitful today on a somewhat cloudy Caturday Saturday I spent time at the local neighborhood community garden. The Phoenix Community Garden is a lovely way to spend an hour or so. The Senior Citizens and Retirees who maintain the garden do an excellent job of growing food and flowers.
I took lots of photos which are posted on My Photography Blog Roaming Urban Gypsy. It became a 7 part series! Of course I also spent time enjoying the garden in my own backyard.
Time spent in gardens and nature is time well spent!

P.S. If you wish to join this positive affirmation challenge running for 90 days, please add your quote to the comments and each day, I’ll share everyone’s quote with their links.

  1. The job supports the dream. Unless you are a trust fund baby, independently wealthy or have a rich generous patron you will need to work for a living. Bills gotta get paid and Lord knows you must have medical and dental benefits.

I know for many literary and visual artists in the beginning it’s a learning curve pricing ones artworks or the marketing and promotion of books.

However WordPress does offer a function that connects to PayPal allowing Followers and Subscribers to make contributions.

One can also set up a Patreon account to receive donations and in return donors will have exclusive access to your books, videos, photography and artworks.

  2. Jacqueline You’re a Genius!.
Your blog post got me to thinking about how to price my paintings.
Just like I find inspiration for creating collages and paintings I was also able to find more instruction videos on pricing ones artworks.

      1. No I have not figured out how to link Etsy to my blog. Also right now I’m using my Cell phone for everything.
No more laptop or notebook. Both computers are dead. Once money starts coming in then I can move forward

      2. Art is therapeutic. Takes my mind off my health and medical problems plus my current inability to care for my brother Stephen. I try not to think about situations over which I have no control.

I love it when you decorate my heart with your words..
