    I never liked all her books and frankly, ‘The Handmaids Tale’ disturbed me as a book. I’ve watched the TV show it’s a bit better. Perhaps sometimes what we picture is worse than the truth when we read. Either way I think this quote is apt. No one in the future will know who we were as a person. Thus, certain pieces of are remembered as stories, which can be truthful, but also don’t take into account personal thoughts or experiences as those are hidden once we have passed. But too many cultures, stories are a kind of immortality. .
