CAN YOU SPOT THE DIFFERENCE?

Let’s add some SPRING to the tale πŸ™‚ You can crack your Story telling imaginationΒ by contributing to this tag along Spring fiction below. The full story will be published on my Tuesday’s Trivia with every part attributed to the contributor. So here goes…

Buds of Spring

Georgette looks out of the window

The cold is fast thawing out and little fresh sprigs are sprouting.

It should be warm soon

Yet the coldness in her heart did not match the liveliness of the budding Spring

Her heart feels like a ghost town.

Where is he?

He promised her everything and she believed in him…

Counting the days and hoping that it’s just a dream.

‘Back in my home country, when we call for a party, we call for a party. We don’t skimp. Our hospitality is legendary. We even give out party tokens, so help yourself to an Easter Party Pack. You are welcome :-)’

      1. Hi, nice meeting you here. I checked out your blog and particularly found interest in the master procrastinator. While I do not tend to have a major challenge in that area, I like that you provide some insightful information that is helpful for anyone. You can check my site when time allows.

  1. Wow what a party Jacqueline! Thanks for hosting:-) hello to all! I am Annette and I have a little blog that I hope sends peace, love, and smiles all over this world! I like to send a positive message out to my guests. Sometimes I may just throw stuff out there like “news of the current popculture world” I take part in some challenges to help me to grow as a person. “My thinking corner” appears each Tuesday I take part in this challenge hosted by our hostess. I am on a journey the path is rocky but I am defining all my choices go left or right. Here is a link to my first interview in my new series “interview a blogger” I want to empower my fellow blogger by showing our blogosphere a different look at each blogger. Off to hop around… See you very soon. Thanks Jacqueline!

  3. Hi lovely party Jacqueline! Thank you kindly for the invite. I’m a late sleeper and it’s noon, so I won’t mind a Mimosa and some fruit. Great hospitality. As to share about my blog, I blog fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. I also enjoy beauty and fashion so I throw in a few articles here and there related to that. Lately, I’ve really been in the mood for poetry. So, here is a recent poem I wrote:

  5. For the poem:

She wallowed, has winter turned to spring.

Georgette thought about him all the time,

In her mind she went over, all the special times they shared together.

By her pillow she kept, the last shirt he had worn,

It still smelled like him, and made her want him more.

Would he keep his promise and return,

Or would spring arrive everywhere but in her heart.

  6. Hello, hello, hello everyone! Jacqueline, you’ve done it again. The set-up is warmly inviting and the chef, well, he deserves a tip jar! πŸ˜‰ Thank you for inviting me once again.
To the other guests, my name is Carlos and I manage a townhouse (or daycare center if you prefer) where all of my thoughts come together to reside. They often are quite rambunctious when running around the place all the time! But the little things have a way to my heart. 7. And one more comment, I wanted to add for new bloggers ( and experienced bloggers). It’s important to add your button so people can follow you via email and make that button highly visible. Put it at the top of your page to the side. Or first thing, at the bottom of a post. There is nothing more frustrating when you want to follow someone but can’t find that button πŸ™‚

Here’s one more piece from my blog:

    https://mandibelle16.wordpress.com/2016/03/15/flash-fiction-for-the-aspiring-writer-he-came-home/

    Thanks Jacqueline, it’s been divine!

      1. Thanks glad you thought the advice was good. I wasn’t trying to tell people what to do, but I was getting frustrating trying to add new bloggers and not being able to find their “follow” button.

    1. Hi Joe, its nice there are people out there that want to get to the truth of the matter. “What I gotta say about it” seems like an interesting blog.
We live in a world of sound bites, and in order to get to the truth, we must probe deeper. Looking forward to reading more of your work

  10. Thanks for the invite! I’m afraid I’ve done my usual party trick of just sitting in the kitchen and eating and drinking; those cakes are awesome, and I’m ashamed to say I’ve eaten most of the cheese! I never was very good at parties – I’ll just sneak out through the back.
