This caught my eye as I meandered about as usual. I have tried to research it and find the name but can’t quite get it’s botanical name.
Maybe the botanists/gardeners in our midst can offer up something.
No matter, I offer for your eyes, a pleasantly pretty purple flower.

I think it’s some kind of orchid but don’t quote me on that!

It just has that orchid shape; we have a half dozen species of orchids around my office. 🙂

yes they are though they are a bit strange looking compared to other flowers.

I found so too. Sometimes, they almost look as if they are plastic.

I thought they were for a long time until I touched the petals of an unattended orchid.

Gorgesous gemstone orchid! It’s color comes from dye drawn up through the venous system!
