Quick Quirky Fact

  • The real name of the rapper Akon is: Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Bongo Puru Nacka Lu Lu Lu Badara Akon Thiam.

Phew! I am exhausted just saying all that. His’ parents were pretty excited with their baby boy.

  • Good Heavens! For the Pope’s visit in 2015, traffic police in Manila were issued with 2,000 nappies so they never had to leave their posts.

I don’t want to think about how they performed those tasks πŸ˜‰

It’s always lovely to start the week and each day as much as we can with a smile and positive outlook. I find Leannenz Monday memes interesting.

Do have a fruitful and blessed week awesome people.

  1. oh my Goodness! I used to complain my mum hadn’t given me a middle name. She said it was because Leanne is two names in one. I never really bought into that, truth be told! Nana used to say I could be Leanne Elizabeth Alice Louise which according to her were Princess Anne’s middle names. Must check that out too! But by crikey I think me and my passport are happy with one simple name than the string Akon has! Imagine trying to fill out forms that require a full name!

  3. I had to read it three times and each time I wondered how come? Must be a chore writing it all out. When I was a teen, I thought Jacqueline was too long and went by Jackie for a pretty long time. Still answer to Jackie all the same but all my records read Jacqueline and then my middle name. You should be thankful for yours πŸ˜‰

  4. Oh, those police officers must have been humiliated to have had to have worn those nappies. It seems a bit extreme to me!
I feel sorry for whoever that rapper is going to marry. It will be pretty tough repeating all those names in the wedding ceremony! πŸ™‚
