The tiny cry is simply magical.
The best sound that she’s ever heard.
For sixteen years she waited in the Lords chambers, until her faith had virtually shriveled to nothing.
Raising her tired arms, she holds them out for her brand new bundle of love.
At last, when she no longer expected it, fate chose to visit her in Wintertime.

…And fate visited a cousin of mine after ten years of marriage without a child. She gave birth to her bundle of Joy in December. This brought an ecstatic feeling that is indescribable. Thanks for sharing this. It’s so beautiful to think about. Have a great day. 🙂

That is really nice. It is something that you cannot express adequately when you hold your baby in your arms. Lovely!

Diane it’s such a difficult time for these women, especially in the African society where the burden of infertility is borne by the woman; no man is willing to accept that they possibly have a problem.

Oh, that is so unfair! But it is that way in many cultures, I guess

It is that way from the much I gather from a lot of women and I don’t think it’s fair really.

So lovely, that miracle. It reminds me of so many friends over the years who gave up on fertility treatments, sometimes choosing adoption, then became pregnant in their 40’s. Always mysterious and amazing. 💖

Indeed. The very same thing happened to my aunt. She gave up and adopted a daughter two years ago. Now she has just had her twins (two boys) with the help of fertility treatment and she is 54.

Thanks Sis. It is always beautiful when after so many nerve wracking years of waiting, a woman who has been seeking for the fruit of the womb gets blessed.

I still do not understand how something so big and full of life can emerge from there. This is something I am not meant to understand. It is scary yet beautiful at the same time.
