It’s Never Too Little…

1449663207076[1]

My heart is glad for the pretty things that surround me in this environment. The flowers are blooming all over the place and the birds are flocking all around.

For the simple things of life, like a warm bowl of chilli and vegetable soup brewed in my kitchen, for the crispy cool Sahara air; even though we are all sneezing and coughing, I give thanks.

Above all things today, I am so grateful that we were able to find Prednisolone at 3am this morning, when my young boy woke up with sudden bad allergic reaction and a swollen face.

We used all the normal stuff for him, but to no avail.

He is allergic to certain environmental factors and it occurs more with weather changes like Summer with all the pollen or the dusty Winter air in this climes.

I did not want to use EpiPen which I keep for only extreme reactions.

Mercifully, the allergic reaction has been arrested and we have every cause to smile.

  1. My son has allergies and he keeps scratching every night. It was triggered when we went for vacation, I still don’t know if the weather or food has caused it. 🙂
Thankful your child is ok now. 🙂

    1. I know how that feels Gilian, especially when you don’t know what is causing it. We had to run batteries of food test before the test zeroed in on environmental factors. I always had a handful of medication because it can be triggered off at any moment. Thank you very much and warm regards 🙂

  2. I lost the alternator on my car on the way home. My husband is a mechanic and had it fixed under two hours. Not only was I not stranded, I’m back on the road and all is well. Beyond grateful!

  3. Wow!!! I am so sorry Jackie…in my haste to point out the missing title I must have forgotten to read the post! I am so sorry that happened to your boy and am glad he is better. Please forgive me for insensitivity to the matter at hand!

  4. Phew! Thank God he is better now.

Yes, gratitude for mercies both big and small is everything.

Hmm, today I am thankful that I am still here, and because I am, I am certain of brighter tomorrows. 🙂
