I am content. I may not have all that I want in life right now, but the wonderful thing is that each day my needs are met. For this, I am grateful.
This year has been exceptionally challenging and financially tough on my family. There are days that I simply wonder how to make the ends meet and as a human I do feel grumpy about it when the mood sets in, but the interesting thing is that once I begin to consciously breathe and silently pray about ‘these things’ the cloud of gloom lifts.
The most amazing thing is that at the end of each day, my families basic needs are met in one way or the other. I truly believe in miracles. There are days that God has used total strangers to bless me. Saying that I’m content does not in anyway remove the fact that we’re struggling at the moment, but totally enhances the peaceful ease of mind that ‘He has me and mine covered.’

There are many days when all I can afford to eat are a bagel and some ramen noodles but something is better than nothing therefore I am blessed.

Absolute truth. There are days the cupboard is bare and ramen noodles becomes a blessing.

By the way I am having problems with WordPress so other than the scheduled posts that are already in the pipeline WordPress will not allow me to create new ones without great difficulty. I’m also having problems with Liking and Commenting. Since I have neither the time nor the resources to fix the problem perhaps it’s time for me to leave blogging.

Several people were having issues with WordPress this past week. I think it’s something that will resolve itself – hopefully.

Thanks. I certainly hope so. I certainly don’t appreciate WordPress trying to cut my wings and kick me to the curb.
Wordpress has the nerve and audacity to call their customer service representatives, Happiness Engineers!

I’ve had my struggles through life but somehow, I’ve always managed to make ends meet. Though I am not very religious, I’ve always felt God’s presence. I feel believing is the first step toward surviving.

Believe is truly the first step to survival, otherwise, we lose the hope and will to keep going.

Beautiful! A most memorable Bible quote that I hold onto, especially in times of anxiety or worry, is “Be still and know that I am God.” How else could we quiet the mind, and mine certainly needs quieting most days!
