My Dear Vase Lady,

with eyes shuttered down,

subdued and silent you are;

what goes on in your mind?

I saw the beautiful, interesting vase standing alone in a quiet corner of the mall as I nosed around. I noticed a chipped bit around her neck, but the questioning poem came to my mind. I wondered who the sculptor had in mind when he/she was creating this.

  1. This vase is absolutely unique, I’ve never seen anything like this. Look at this face and the bridge of her nose, it’s quite something. Looks like her nose starts from somewhere in the forehead… it’s the best I can explain.

    And she’s asleep…

  7. Hmmm… Wonder what it means that the chip was the second thing I noticed. Since I first saw it on my phone last night, my mind has been racing between two different story lines inspired by your photo of that vase, my Sister. Great post! ❤
