Online Blog Party

Let’s cook up a party – Party Live Link. πŸ’ƒπŸŽΆπŸŽΉπŸ°πŸ‘πŸ—πŸŽπŸΊπŸΈ

Come on in, let’s get this party started.

You are most welcome. Do make yourself comfortable and join the fun.

Some of you are used to the party mode, but just a quick run through on a few party etiquette’s for the new one’s in our midst; nothing tedious.

Refreshments are nicely arranged down the page: Drinks, Chocolates, Cakes, Donuts, freshly squeezed juice, Coffee, Tea and so much more. :-)

We have our ownΒ Intercontinental Chef in the house, just place your ordersπŸ˜‰

The little rules of play:

  1. You must mix and mingle with others. Don’t be a wallflower. Go say hello to someone and you can participate in the Tag a poem/story below, riddle and do tell us where you are partying from:-)
  2. Β Please leave your blog link or post link in the comment box below along with an introduction.
  3. It’s one link per comment, but come back as often as you’d like, that way it’s easier to focus on a link at a time for others.
  4. Please reblog, spread the word of the party like butter, or like, share on Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Facebook, etc. Tell your family, friends, Β blogging neighbours, even your blogging pets.
  5. Have fun, it’s a great way to find bloggers and have them find you.
  6. Please show some love. Reblog this post. It helps all of us! The more people that see and participate in it, the more potential new follows! So, share and share voraciously!

There we have it. Since all the rules have been clearly explained, have fun and make the most of it :-)

Thank you for coming to my party and supporting my blog. You rock.

We are COOKING A LARGE POT OF FOOD THIS WEEKEND, so what shall we make? Let’s know where you are partying from and what are you going to add to the boiling pot?

I currently write from DXB – Dubai and I am adding some Chilli peppers to the pot πŸ˜‰

Hope poem – you can add your own stanza to build it…

She stirred HOPE in her pot

hoping that the delightful aromaΒ

will blossom and spread some LOVE

to those around her….

Riddle for Kids

Which creature walks on four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon, and three legs in the evening?

hiddenPlease have some fun, mingle and make friends. Once again, thank you for coming:-)

      1. Dear Jacqueline thanks for inviting me to the party – the food looks great and the music is fantastic! I am bringing in a little Jamaican goat curry and rice and peas which I have to admit is the only thing I have cooked for a long time. 2. Ooh, the food looks nice and wonderful party.

I’m stumped on the riddle. My guess is a common animal like an ape or a gorilla. When they wake up, they’re groggy, thus they bend over and let their arms support their legs. Then by the afternoon, they’re wide awake and therefore, they don’t need to walk on four legs. By evening, they’re tired again and they’d let an arm down.

Anyway, it’s time for bed for me. I’ll check back in tomorrow morning.

  3. Hey! This party idea is fun! I am glad to be here.

The riddle is quite simple; The answer is “Man”.
In childhood, we crawl on 4 legs.
In adulthood, on two legs we walk.
And at the evening (old age), we need to use a third leg – a stick – to support ourselves.

      1. OK… Time’s up!

        The answer is “Zero”

Bit obvious. Someone in the world would have no right hand. So zero fingers in their right hand. Now anything x 0 = 0

        Final product will be zero.

    1. Maybe someone would like to take up the challenge:

      Solve this …

“How much do you get when you multiply the number of fingers in the right hand of all people on Earth?”

(You may see population records for reference.)

      2. One man is the grandfather (Mr. X). One is his son (Say, Mr. Y). Now Mr Y has a son of himself (Mr Z).

        So one grandfather, Mr X.
Two Dads – Mr X and Mr Y
And two sons – Mr Y and Z

Total 3, good to go! πŸ˜€

  4. She mixed & mixed
    It boiled & boiled
    Until the aroma spread around
    And covered the world,
    In its hold
    Wrapped in its behold!

That’s my addition of black pepper
You can grind it, or simply add the way it is! πŸ™‚

I am a bit low in spirit though, not so much in a party mood but hope the soft background music will work magic in my psyche. πŸ™‚ This is only a brief stop to see how the party is progressing. But I trust you sha. You throw the best parties!

I’m going to prepare some pepper soup with fresh fish… So, I hope to return with a bowl of that as well as some Danish beer. As usual, you already have a big spread and they all look so so delicioussssss, hmmmn yummylicious too. Will be back later to chill out my tired brains and mingle with your friends. πŸ™‚ Xoxo

    1. My dear Stella, I can quite imagine your feelings. Everyone has been having a run of low spirit recently with hectic personal lives coupled with the World’s stress. I had to literally pull myself together ‘cos it’s not be a cheerful season at all. Thank you for stepping in and may your burden be eased in Jesus name.

      1. Amen and Amen. Thank you so much. I know it’s not peculiar to me alone to feel this way. Just that sometimes no matter how much we try to deny it, we get overwhelmed and let the chips fall. But I thank God for His words which is always a healing balm. And for friends like you whose soothing words calm a troubled soul. I am declaring myself fit, well and fine again. Can’t let anything steal my peace again! Thanks to you and everyone who has sent in a kind word to make me bounch back to my usual self… I appreciate you all. xx πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    2. Nice to see you stopped in. Here is a smile πŸ™‚ just for you. You are such an inspiration for others so here is some inspiration coming back in your direction:

      Feeling down? Feeling blue?
Just not sure what to do?
Look around you, what do you see?
Find the one thing that sets you free.

      Spirit rise, above the malaise,
      Infuse yourself into this place,
The little smile upon your lips,
Can grow, expand, with rising tips.

Change the mood, change the vibe,
You always know that you can thrive,
On friend sweet words, they are a balm,
The smooth the day to a soothing calm.

  14. Thank you for inviting me, Jacqueline. I’m loving the music! To keep it tasting good, I’m bringing some fresh basil and garlic chives from my porch garden, I’m spending this weekend with my Mom, and trying to talk her into making a short documentary film about how to raise six children. She has knowledge that she needs to share.

I’m also bringing some spicy hot jabalaya for any and all hungry bloggers here who need some fuel to keep that creativity flowing. Enjoy!

I don’t know what I can add to the pot that hasn’t already been added, maybe I’ll just use it as a double cooker, put a pot on top and melt some chocolate and then mix them with walnuts…so we’ll have dessert, not that we need it with all the lovely refreshments you’ve so kindly provided, but hey, there’s always room for chocolate, right? πŸ˜‰
