In respect of blogging matters, networking, interacting and connecting is key.
Just like is said in real estate, that location is key, in blogging, after your content, mingling with others and pushing your buttons is your trump card, which cannot be repeated enough.
It’s always bemusing to see some people plunk their butts in a chair, write a good post, stick it out there and go off to Timbuktu.
Naturally, we humans respond to stimuli of association, thus, any blogger who wants to grow has to get past their shyness and get more friendly and others will respond. As you Work Hard, Also Play Hard.
Well, that said, I turned up my own blogging heat just a notch higher by pushing myself to engage in a few more challenges.
Yes indeed! It’s called a challenge because it’s meant to push you beyond our comfort boundaries of your cosy armchair and it’s doing that to me.
I got involved in 3 different challenges + the 2 that I already do.
They are Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Prompt Challenge, The great big book of lists, Streams of consciousness, Flash fiction for aspiring writers and Colline’s gratitude or Maria’s gratitude challenges.
The good thing is that there is something to suit different taste and for me, it leaves no time for me to feel bored or lazy about writing.
So, what are you waiting for? Search around and you will find something that interests you.
I even started two of my own challenges as well, details can be found at the top of my blog.
Talking about playing hard and networking, please come to my party. Here is your invitation in this link.
Thank you for listening and kind regards.

I fully expect you to have one of the most popular blogs on the internet because of your drive. I think we have as many reasons for blogging as there are blogs and that’s one thing that makes it fun. I hope I didn’t hurt or disappoint you earlier by wavering on commitment. I do very much want to come to your party but right now, I wake up one morning and am able to function pretty well and the next day I wake up and can’t get out from under the electric blanket. Somedays, I can’t see well or hear, I have crippling bouts of vertigo, pain everywhere, muscles that work sometimes and sometimes not. Many days, the blog I write is my big accomplishment for that day. A small way for me to still connect and hopefully, contribute in a small way. I’m terrible about the awards and have let them stack up on me. I don’t write about my disease that much because I don’t want to be defined by it but it is my arch enemy and a thief of my time. I love you and love what you do. I hope you understand. The spirit is willing but the flesh is falling apart. I agree, blogging is relational and you have terrific ideas. Don’t get discouraged by old ladies like me who are traveling a very different track in life. (((((hugs))))))

Dearest Pam, I don’t feel hurt in the least. It didn’t even cross my mind and what I tell you is the absolute truth. I actually said a quiet prayer for you and for a minute wished that it was possible to pray for you over the phone. I totally understand and I even admire your fortitud. H

Hardly have I heard you complain and for you to speak out, you must be feeling down. Please do take care of yourself and do the much that you can. I will keep lifting you up in my prayers. I love you and one day I too will grow old.

As you Work Hard, Also Play Hard…love this line Jacqueline. I really hope to invest more time on my blogging habit but i seem to have so many other areas of my life to catch up on. I really admire the time and effort you put in. Right now all i can do is take one week at a time but I’ll keep working at it

Jacqueline, would you mind if I shared this post on my blog this weekend? Yesterday I wrote an early on blogging advice post. I think that this would be a great extension. Let me know 🙂 BTW, I think that you are wonderful!

I really thought when I started blogging that I would just write something and people would find it and like it. But following other blogs and commenting is so much fun! If people aren’t doing it, I hope they will start…
