Yes, we were generations apart
our understanding was never at par,
but when you looked me in the eye’s
the love that shone through
cut through every generation gap.

Generation, The Daily Post Prompt
Below is my first just published Poetry Book “Out of the silent breath” which is available on Amazon and Smashwords.
When you buy my book, you support me in an invaluable manner.

Never leave me lonely
With words left unsaid
You walk away into the dark
Like a mist that melts away
Awww so beautiful- lovely picture, lovely post – tear in the eye. I am not a wordsmith like most of the wordpress community – but I am enjoying the learning and reading all the beautiful words and expressions.
I think I am so lucky, I feel no generation gap with my mum and if my dad were alive we there would be no gap. As a youngster I took my closeness with my parents and the common norm for all child parent relationships. But, later I realised – Oh my it isn’t, and that really pains me to know. I appreciate my fortune.

Thank you for your lovely words and taking the time to read. You need not be a wordsmith (just a bogus name for those who love playing with letters and I guess you do too) to have fun in this place. It’s a pleasure to connect with you 🙂
