I was worrying about my graduate degree and what I will do with it and how famous I would become after it. How stupid. I understood that the Lord needs me to live in the present and not some hypothetical distant future.

Canadian Teacher Way back someone once wrote me a short quote that I often remember too late. I rush through places and things because I want to do something else or be with someone at the end of my travels – missing the things along the way. Getting to my destination and usually wondering why didn’t I stop and enjoy things along the way? I think I should write the quote and post it in my car. The quote is “Be where you are at.” I’m trying to.
